About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Overpriced for a municipal course
We enjoyed playing this Donald Ross course! Felt the price was high for a municipal course. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Greens are okay
The fairways are good the putting green has no grass.
They only serve hot dogs at the clubhouse that’s it. The view on the entire course is beautiful. Will go back again just to see if the putting greens get better.

Not during thé week-end!
This golf is correct but during thé week-end it’ s not pleasant. We wait 10 min. at least at each hole. It’s better during thé week.

Avoid
Pretty burnt out fairways and greens. Pace of play was fine in terms of total time, but waited on almost every tee, sometimes for two groups. Uninteresting layout with redundant flat fairly short holes. Not a great value.

Everyone is pleasant and helpful. Considering how much play this course gets “in season”, it is in decent condition, except for some of the green and the red tee boxes.

Fun course with a great view
I was paired with two friendly people who turned out to be a lot of fun to golf with. The course was good considering they are experiencing a drought. Nice views along the water.

Decent play
Not a particularly hard course. Greens were in good condition, very fast. Fairways were ok, had some missing grass, nothing you could not say was terrible

Tee box
The red tee boxes were quite sandy and hard to find a decent spot for the tee. Not sure why they’re not kept up. True that’s where I play it from but my partner plays from the black and he actually commented before I did. The rest of the course was kept in pretty good shape. Regarding the off course amenities we ate in the restaurant three times and never really had a great meal so we don’t eat there anymore, but we do love the atmosphere and will definitely go back.
