About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Decent play
Not a particularly hard course. Greens were in good condition, very fast. Fairways were ok, had some missing grass, nothing you could not say was terrible
Tee box
The red tee boxes were quite sandy and hard to find a decent spot for the tee. Not sure why they’re not kept up. True that’s where I play it from but my partner plays from the black and he actually commented before I did. The rest of the course was kept in pretty good shape. Regarding the off course amenities we ate in the restaurant three times and never really had a great meal so we don’t eat there anymore, but we do love the atmosphere and will definitely go back.

Great value for money
We played here on a Saturday afternoon. Pace of play was good. The fairways were dried out but the greens were ok. The wind made for some tough holes. The staff and local members made for a great afternoon. I would play it again.

Muni with good greens.
Typical municipal course that is dependent on rain for good fairways and rough. Patchy, inconsistent and generally shabby. Must play winter rules but get over it.. Hardpan and thin lies around very decent and fair greens. This golf course will keep you honest and is fun to play. The Beach Club has great easy going vibe with inside and patio dining. Feels like a neighborhood bar with a golf course around it. Recommended.

What an experience (and not in a good way)
I’ve been here multiple times and have had good experiences. However, yesterday was absolutely HORRIBLE! From the minute I arrived I was yelled at for being 10 minutes early for my tee time to getting yelled at because of interactions between the staff and the person I was with without me being present. Men shout NOT treat women the way I was treated nor should they just yell at customers without offering a solution. I had to come up with the simple solution to the issue at hand. Get staffing with better customer service and problem solving skills. These are just a few of the things that were wrong that day. I don’t have time to list them all.

Fun course to play, decent shape and great scenery

For the value, play somewhere else
The views along the water are great, but that’s about where the value stops. Too pricey for an unorganized staff between trying to get a cart and actually getting the starter to let us “start.”
We teed off 30 min late and 18 holes took 4 hours and 45 min. Pace of play was excruciatingly slow, and no Ranger is present to speed up play.
For the price of this course, play somewhere else.

Good and bad, mostly good
Everything was great except the pace of play. The group in front of us were very slow, we waited every shot in the back nine. We were teamed up with another twosome and they were great. The course is a great value and the staff you interact with are very nice and professional. Great bar and food.
