About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Good and bad, mostly good
Everything was great except the pace of play. The group in front of us were very slow, we waited every shot in the back nine. We were teamed up with another twosome and they were great. The course is a great value and the staff you interact with are very nice and professional. Great bar and food.

Slow
Pace of play has been consistently slow for a while now. Course marshals need to do a better job moving slow players along.

slowest pace of play ever, 3hours and 10 minutes for the front nine, complained to the pro shop the said they had one marshall out there, did not make a difference 5 hours and 15 minutes for 18 holes

Windy Day at Lake Worth Beach GC
Staff was very nice. Very little grass on tee boxes and fairways and a lot of weeds, which affected my game. Greens and sand traps were OK. Wind was high enough to be bothersome. Many fairways are next to each other. I won't be back.

Course could have better green maintenance. Lots of bare spots
