About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

You will be met in the parking lot by Dennis from New Jersey. Very friendly, helpful and organized. Value golf but don’t play slow or you will get the evil eye from both Marshal and the regulars. Slow greens but they hold iron shots.

It’s come a long way baby!
Have played it in the winter on Tuesday with a group of friends from Boston. This is our fifth or sixth year playing there.
From Matt to Dennis out front at the bag stand to the entire crew, it’s a friendly place to play and not feel stressed.
It’s also one of our Sunday go to course with couples.
All said it has improved in all areas.

Great day on the Intercoastal!
This course is a great find in an older Lake Worth neighborhood. It is nice layout that is not plush, but very serviceable and a good value. The greens are a little inconsistent but had some interesting breaks and many false fronts grabbing approaches.

Needs Work on the Greens
First time playing here and although it's a nice locale with decent course architecture, to me, the greens left a lot to be desired. Slow & patchy it looked like a mix of grass types and unfortunately for me that's a deal breaker. When you're trying to putt for dough (not literally) I am looking for courses with well kept greens. That is the only drawback/criticism as otherwise it's an enjoyable locale.

First timer at Lake Worth Beach Club
This was the first course we played when we got into Florida. Only played one round here and paid $35. This was my first time at this course and was a great place to start my Florida golf vacation.
Loved driving up to this course. Very beautiful club house with all the palms and the parking was easy. The layout of this course was very nice. Right along the water and the weather was great. Not many elevation changes which was a plus for me. Fairways were in good condition and the greens were nice as well. Staff members were friendly and answered any questions we had. It is a fairly open course. Still demands some good golf shots but does not penalize you for being off the fairway on most holes. There is some water so you still gave to be aware of that, Loved this course and would consider it an intermediate course. Great course!
