About
Lake Worth Beach Golf Club borders the Intracoastal Waterway for just over a mile. There is no shortage of scenic courses in south Florida but this one still manages to stand out. Many of the holes run parallel to the Intracoastal, offering beautiful views and a cooling breeze. The golf course has a classic Florida layout. At just over 6,100 yards, it is not a long course but it still manages to feel like one. There is strategic bunkering along the greensides and water hazards come into play on a few holes. With generous fairways and no forced carries, it is accommodating enough for a range of skill levels but it still offers a fair challenge. The golf course offers a quick and challenging round for more advanced players but gentle enough for beginners.

Easy course in fair condition
We finished 18 holes in 2.5 hours. The back nine is definitely in better condition than the front nine.

Played the course second time this week, man am I glad I did! Made my second hole in one in my life ! Hole 6 , 161 yards , Ping 7 iron , two hops and rolled in!
The staff read my last posting and the greens were shorter and faster than Tuesday!

Not a hidden gem!
Staff was amazing, but course was not a good shape. We had a Ranger come out around the 3rd fairway and asked us to pick up our play. We had a threesome of women behind us and they must have called the pro shop. We of course picked up our pace when we realized we had played the first 3 holes in 25 minutes. We made the turn in 1hr and 30 minutes. Very poor judgment by the Ranger.

Nice little hidden Jem
I like the course and the staff is very friendly. The course layout is good and the distance is not over whelming. The views are spectacular. They are renovating clubhouse right now so a little closed off but I think they will do a great job and get it opened completely soon.
I would only complain about the greens being slow and not cut short enough, the ball does not role real true.
Over all I am going to continue to go and play there I like it.

Good for yhe price
Fairly easy, but good for the price. not very crowded. a lot of older players (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Sunday Funday
I enjoyed my day, played with some new people. I was please for the course condition except the ladies tees where not being used.
I didn't like the fact that they charged me $20.00 to ride in a cart by myself even though I booked for just me and my booking included a cart and I did not go with anyone I knew. However when the 4th person did not show up they did refund me my money for the $20.00 upcharge.

Great course but it needs a water/beer cart to sell drinks on the course...fun day, great pace

You asked how to earn the fifth star. I would say you coarse is a great coarse. Only improvements I can recommend. Level and seed the tee boxes and place sand in traps. Seem to be dirt. Otherwise I love the course and will continue playing. Thank You
