The Club at Venetian Bay

Course is in decent condition for the time of year, play was pretty slow due to the amount of golfers that day. I plan to go back but hopefully the play will be faster.

Greens were in thin and poor condition.

Over all a fun course to play !

Course very wet, more s than others in area. Fairways thin and greens bumpy. Good pace of play and friendly staff. Just better options in area for price.

The front nine was cart path only. Cart paths were a muddy mess. Tee boxes thin on grass, fairways too wet with standing water, and greens did not run true with several having large bad spots filled with sand. Number 18 was in the worst shape. Back nine was in a little better shape. It is such a same as the coure has great potential. Have been playing this coures since 2015 and they are always working on it but never get it right. Way over priced for the condition of the course.

Just a fun course to play. Many different challenges

Everything was going amazingly and we were having a fantastic time. The golf carts and comfortable and the perfect speed. The greens were great, beautiful course!!! The hotdogs were yummy and a great price!

Our only hiccup and biggest issue was that at the 10th hole, a man, his wife and a second cart drove up to us just as we teed off and asked why we were playing there. Obviously we were confused but let them know that we already played the front 9 and are now playing the back 9. The man proceeded to yell at us, stating that he works there and is a Starter and our group, plus the 5 carts behind us should have waited for their group to finish the 9th hole and then we could tee of behind them (mind you we had already waited 7 minutes for the foursome in front of us to tee off). This is a new rule to me and to all the people who were also waiting to tee off. Several people behind us chimed in and corrected the man who proceeded to get even more upset and said he was going to go ahead of us since we don't know what we are doing. There was already a foursome on the fairway so this guy and his group are now waiting behind them, which put all of us even farther back to continue to tee off and play.

I sent this information to the golf course and never heard back from them or received an apology for how their staff, even when not working, treated our group and the groups behind us.

I would go back, however, it has left a bitter memory for us when we were having such an awesome day.

Wide fairways and, manageable rough make the course forgiving and fun to play. Greens were sanded and extremely fast. Friendly staff made it a pleasure to play

Fairways were adequate, but greens were in very rough condition. A lot of sand on the greens, some areas nothing but wet dirt.

Always enjoy the challenge of this course. Greens are fast and true. Book a tee time and enjoy

I made the unfortunate blunder of booking the tee time for the day before and even know it was extremely busy they got us off with in 15 mins.

First, very friendly staff, as I was an afternoon single they had me join a "Member" & another frequent CVB player much earlier than my scheduled time. These guys served as great caddies, good players, and we had a good time. The course is in fine shape,; a few stressed areas, some sanded spots on greens, sand bunkers need work, but I would recommend this course. Fun layout, and greens quite speedy & unexpected breaks on a few pin positions. Fairways are good, and every hole is depicted well on the cart screen ----not many visual unknowns, but keep an eye on the screen if a 1st-timer like me. This is your typical Florida course, so respect the breezes, and hit enough club to carry hole positions. Thanx to GolfNow for the Hot Deals, as CVB was perfect stop for me before joining family & friends in NSB for dinner.
