Rocky Bayou Country Club

Course is well maintained. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Range balls were included with the round. Bottled water was available on the course. Only downside was the greens were a little slow. Drinks and food at the turn and after the round were excellent. Plan on playing this course again the next time I'm in the area.

The fairways were plush and green, with a deeper rough on the edges. The greens were plugged and sanded about a week ago but were true and fair. With another week or 10 days, they will be perfect. Weather was very hot and humid, but it's late July / early August and that is what is to be expected here in the FL Panhandle. Bring a large sweat towel with you and extra golf gloves, you'll need them.

Course was in good shape-except for greens. Had been aerated pretty recently. Would not have been a big deal if I had known beforehand, but GolfNow didn’t say anything about that and no one at the course said anything about it either before we played. Glad I only payed the twilight rate or would not have been happy.

The course, other than the greems was in very good shape. The greens could have been cut and they would have been better. Nice track.

As a local of South Walton, I can say our courses, while very nice, can be expensive. Enter Rocky Bayou. Great course and an excellent value. If you are on vacation here and are looking for an excellent and challenging course that won’t break the bank, you need to try Rocky Bayou. I will definitely return.

I hate to tell everyone about this course but it’s an exceptional value for the area.

Really enjoyed this course. Layout is beautiful and staff was wonderful. If I ever have the chance I will definitely play this course again.

Course is definitely worth the drive from Destin if you are looking for something that is a lot cheaper than the resort courses. A number of memorable holes.

The rude fivesome that obviously thinks they own the place (assuming they are members of the local men’s golf association) need to learn some etiquette. Had one blast past me on the blue tees at 10 to go sit by the senior tees and wait…in my way! Other than that the place was great.

This course was in good shape, but no beverage cart and limited choices at bar. Still play this course it’s a great value. And it’s a great challenge from the two back tees

My first time and was very satisfied with conditions, staff and pace of play. Will definitely be on my list to play again when in the area.

Really loved this course. Three very memorable holes. A scenic course. I will definitely be back!
