Magnificent Greens

Course is in excellent condition. The greens are very fast and have a lot of undulation. If you can, leave your approach shots below the hole. Otherwise, you will have a very fast side hill slider. The fairways are also in excellent condition.

Celebrating Birthday Round

Our first time playing Rocky Bayou Course. My wife and I were paired with Mike and James. It was a very pleasant experience. We play enjoying the course not keeping score. We learned at a course that was strict about pace so keeping up is important to us. Fortunately, Rocky Bayou was not crowded yesterday.

The greens were very well maintained and quite difficult for me. Bottled water was available around the course. The practice areas were nice with practice balls available without additional cost.

We will go back.

Fun place. No airs, just golf. Relaxed. Excellent greens. Well cared for. Wide open but pick your poison based on the tees. Billy in pro shop a good ambassador

Staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Practice facilities are outstanding. Course is beautiful and you can make it as long or short as you want it to be. Greens were perfect. After 2 mornings of rain ithe course was in great condition

They hate Golf Now

We signed up to play thru golf now. Treated us like we were trespassing because they said they do not make enough money when Golf Now is used.

A Hidden Gem

The pro shop with limited stock is a separate building from the clubhouse. We particularly enjoyed the course layout with elevation changes, water hazards and true rolling greens. Pace of play was outstanding. A group of ladies ahead of our twosome willingly let us play through. Felt alone on the course afterwards. Well worth the trip over the causeway to the Niceville area.

Golden Oldie

A great course for the money. First time to play here. Played by myself, by choice (I do have friends), to practice and work on short game. This course surprised me pleasantly with the layout and elevation changes for a Florida course. The members have something to be proud of. Not many courses last this long. Only downside is having to pay the toll fees for FL 293.

Majestic Vistas

What a beautiful course to play. Starting with the Par 3 4th hole, you better be accurate with your yardage and carry the water, or you may just roll one into the drink. It helps to have a laser range finder since the Club has now put in new flag sticks with the mirror prisms built into the flag sticks. Makes for a much more accurate yardage. A really fun course to play!!
