The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Love this course
It’s smack dab in the middle of an older community. Nice executive course that offers a lot of opportunity to work on short game. Great facility with great course conditions.
Had never played here before. New management seems to have turned this course around. Kevin, the starter was very friendly. Course was in very good condition. Short but challenging. Will definitely play again.
Value for money
The staff was very kind and friendly. Everything was clean and taken care of. The greens were great, the fairways were pretty good, small gaps on occasion and the tee boxes could have been better but they weren’t the worst I’ve ever seen. Overall this is a really great course. Me and my friend finished the course in 3 hours for 18 holes. Which is excellent to get a quick game in. We typically shoot 100 so we’re not pros.

A pretty good course overall. We played behind a couple of slow people who didn’t let us pass so that was a bit rough. All the greens were great, some fairway were super patchy but none the less would recommend
Great 'Bang-For-Your-Buck'
Friendly staff. Course layout is open and not overly difficult but still some challenging bunker guarded greens. Some spotty fairways but no issues if you play winter rules. Greens in good condition. Gas carts are a personal minor bother. Tough to complain for the price paid. Will definitely play here again.
Pleasantly Surprised
This was a great find for our group! None of us had ever played here before and some of the reviews were mixed but it’s great. From the time you get there the staff is extremely welcoming and the course is terrific. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not Augusta but it’s in remarkably good shape for a public golf course that I’m sure is very busy in season. Tees, fairways all in good shape, yes there are some spots that are thin in the fairways but not that bad and greens are absolutely fantastic! We will definately be back.
Course is alot of fun, good fairways and greens. Staff is extremely nice and friendly. Go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. Great quality and value for the price.
Fun Time!
If your in for a fun round this is the place. Although it’s a par 64 you get to hit every club in your bag a great mix of holes. Very inexpesive, great staff and course is in decent shape and very playable. Greens are as good as any around. We will definately be back!
Better than the range 🤷🏾♂️
Let me make one thing very clear — the staff at Poinciana are INCREDIBLY nice. My dad and I felt so welcomed. At the end of our round, they even gave us the option to play a few more holes because it was a slow afternoon… but the course though? Big nope. Fairways feel like rough and you can get bad lies hitting the best drive of your life. Tee boxes are sort of in shambles… it just doesn’t feel like it’s advertised. If you’re on a golf trip and are looking for a shake out round, this is an option, especially if you can get a tee time for a good deal.

Seems to me, someone had a bad round. This course has been under new management for the past 3 years, prior to that, the course was unplayable. the transformation in that time has been unbelievable and gets better every time we play. The greens are by far top notch compared to other Palm Beach Courses. Tee boxes have plenty of grass and fairways are far from bare. This course gets better every time i play there. The only correct statement your review has is an incredible staff. Poinciana is a hidden gem with the most reasonable greens fees
around.
Your false review again, makes me believe you had a unenjoyable round, because of your game not the course condition.
