About
The Poinciana Golf Club has recently re-opened under NEW MANAGEMENT and has done extensive renovations to the golf course including NEW GREENS.
Located in western Lake Worth, Poinciana Country Club is one of several great short courses that south Florida has to offer. At just over 4,000 yards, it is a quick and challenging test of your target golf skills. The greens are small with large breaks and there are swaying palms lining the fairways. The layout consists of par 3s that range from 103 to 172 yards and par 4s that are approximately 300 yards. There are strategically placed hazards throughout the golf course that offer good short game practice for more advanced players. Poinciana Country Club can conveniently be played in less than four hours. The golf course is still gentle enough for beginners though. It is popular amongst locals but still a well kept secret from the rest of south Florida.

Great Value
Great value to get a round in. Staff was consistently hospitable.
Better for the iguanas
Golf course was in overall poor condition. Surprisingly the greens were good and fast. But not enough so to balance out the overall poor playing surfaces. Even at $42 on a Saturday afternoon I’d stay away unless you really enjoy iguana spotting. There were plenty of them out there.
Fairways in need of major improvement
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The greens were in good condition. The fairways had a minimal amount of grass and were predominately sand. The tee boxes had minimal grass.
The course layout was interesting and enjoyable.
Once the fairways are improved, the course then goes on my must play again list.
Good course, great price, better staff

Great Greens /Great Price
Attended to right from the beginning , friendly staff , The greens are as good as any greens i’ve played in Palm Beach County. Great lay out , course lets you use every club in the bag , Some holes are challenging , but a fun course to definitely play
Rough shape
50$ for terrible shape. Tee boxes and fairways were rough. Reviews said the course was in good shape and they had done a lot of work. Don't always trust reviews

Love this place. Always a good time here. Greens in great shape and fun to play target golf. Definitely worth a play.
Not worth it
Fairways terrible,tee boxes even worse. Greens were good but cups were beat up. Even at 50$, not a good course.
Great Greens
Some of the best greens I’ve played on this year. Target golf at its best. Greens are true and very small. It’s not Augusta but very playable. We will definately make this a regular stop.
Big Bang for Your Buck!
So much fun. Our foursome was pleasantly surprised at how good of a layout it is, very well designed. Lots of water winding through the course and sand traps well placed. Conditions are very playable, tees and fairways a little beat up but not bad at all. GREENS ARE GREAT! we will definitely be back and the price is right.
disappointed
The course was in very rough shape. The starters hurried people onto the course causing a bottleneck of 3 four balls and a gap behind them. The cart was belching exhaust and had seen its better day. Won't be coming back
Good for the price
The course is a good challenge even if not very long. Greens were good. Fairways decent. The tee boxes not so good for several of them. But the cost was worth it. Not too expensive.
A must round
friendly and accommodating staff right from the beginning .
