About
Stone Creek Golf & Country Club stretches across more 185 acres of Ocala's rolling hills and lush green countryside. The lengthy course stretches to 7,221 yards from the back tees. The challenging layout is known for being one of the best public golf courses in Ocala and the surrounding area. The large greens are undulating and fast. The golf course requires a good amount of accuracy thanks to the strategic placement of bunkers that frame most of the greens. Water also has a prominent presence on the course. It comes into play on 11 holes. Golfers should be prepared for a variety of challenges but the well conditioned Bermuda putting greens provide some of the best putting surfaces in the Southeast. Stone Creek Golf & C.C. also has a practice facility with a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

Nice Course
I enjoyed playing, unfortunately I was not able to finish because of darkness. Daylight savings. We only finished 15 holes. I started at 2 pm and the course was heavy. They paired us up with 2 other people so there seem to be 4 players all the time and it moves slowly.
Wide open course with some sand and water.
Excellent course for a friendly round of golf. Challenging for the mid to high handicapper from the white tees. Greens were true but the whole area needs rain to wash in the sand on the greens from a recent overseeding. This course is associated with a Del Webb retirement community so pace of play is a little slower than normal. The staff is very helpful and they have a great restaurant in the clubhouse.
Inquire about local conditions first
Course was partly closed: we had to play the first 9 twice, due to course maintenance and had to stay on the cartpath only. The wide fairways involved a lot of walking. Raincheck was denied.
pretty, best greens in Fl, great condition
Greens are in excellant condition, extremely fast. Fairways are in wonderful condition. Lots of water, but really doesn;t come into play. Just a pretty course. Worth the visit.
Very smooth greens
Course was in great shape, greens for the most part are flat and very smooth. Great experience would definitely play there again.

Well maintained. A lot of traps and water along with manicured fairways and challenging greens.
Very Nice Course
I have played here three times now and it is one of my favorite courses. The lay out is great and the course is in excellent shape. I have enjoyed all three rounds i have played here. In this area this is a Must play course..

Course has a lot of character and challenging holes!
Much better than the Candler Hilss course where the Ocala Open is played. Also has a very good restaurant.
