About
Located just northwest of Tampa, Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club sprawls across the lush landscape of the west Florida coast. The club offers three nines: the Gator, the Panther, and the Bobcat. The nines can be played individually for a quick round or in three different 18-hole combinations. The Gator/Panther layout offers a good balance of challenges and player-friendly features. Narrow, tree-lined fairways are complemented by generous landing areas. There are sparkling lakes and ponds that come into play on a few holes and strategically placed bunkers are situated along the greensides. In addition to the three golf courses, Silver Dollar boasts one of the area's most extensive practice facilities, which includes a full driving range, two putting greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sandtrap, and three practice holes.

Still a good place to play
Course was a little more crowded than normal. Played gator panther. Play kept moving. Course muddy in some areas.
Good Course/Good Value
Played 18 holes with my son today. Down here on vacation and used the Golf Now App. Found this course (and many others) but really liked this layout. 27 hole course and we played the Panther and the Gator. Nice views, challenging course and the Gator was really long. My son and I really enjoyed that. Greens were tight on par 3's and we liked that too. Course was just a bit soggy in spots, but other than that, we really enjoyed it!
Much improved
This course used to be in terrible shape. But over the last year they made some great improvements. Especially the greens there as good as any. Fairways need a little bit of work but not bad overall really good course. The layout is interesting and challenging. Make sure you pick the right tea box.
A long course but less crowded
Played gator (9 holes ) and panther (9 holes). Course was muddy in spots, but greens were good and fast.
!6th & 17th holes(panther) are par 5"s and fairly long.
Started 12:50 and finished at 5 pm.
Greens have improved tremendously
Well since I've had the chance to play this course but I was pleasantly surprised with the work they've been doing with the greens. on the day I played they were extremely quick but well manicured and impressive. Then a good job improving this course.
Friendly staff, good course conditions.
Greens were in good shape and rolled nicely, most tee boxes were in good shape, fairways were nice too. Played all 27 holes today and it was smooth sailing, will play here again.
Great Value
Wide open, my boys can crush the ball in (m)any direction. Good, long course.
Beautiful, Fun and challenging course
Great course. Really enjoyed our round of golf. Staff in the pro shop is a little grumpy and.unhappy though.
Pretty good value
Course was reasonably priced - $25/person including cart, taxes, etc. Greens were postage stamps for the most part. It was sometimes hard to find truly flat ground on some tee boxes. Course had some pretty soaked wet spots, and a number of shots where you can’t tell whether there is water there or not. Not an easy course for beginners, but other than the above it was in reasonably good shape. Staff was very friendly. Not the greatest course, but I would go back again.
