A gem of a course
One of the nicest courses on my area . Not an easy course but a fair course for all abilities. If you have never played it you should!!!!!!

great course Ranger not so much
The course was excellent, The practice area was top notch. All the staff was excellent, except for one ranger. We played the the first nine in 2 hrs., and waited just bit on each hole. No big deal. On 11, the group ahead of us skipped it. Just as that happened the ranger happen to show up and tell us we are a hole behind. We then caught them two holes later a waited a little all the way in. I dont mind rangers doing their job, but know what your talking about. That aside, play this if you can
Feel Cheated!
First let me say that I love the course. We arrived and were informed that we would be required to play the Creek course twice because they had an event that day. The event was a ladies tournament that had obviously been on the books for some time. No notice posted or advisement given when we booked our tee time - which I
Blame on Golf Now and Heron Creek. We played a premium rate as well. No discount given. The pro shop said we could quit after 9 and get a 9 hole raincheck. I don’t accept that these people accepted our tee time and didn’t know that we would be restricted to the Creek course. To make matters worse the round exceeded 5 hours. Absolutely no ranger support after the front nine. I will be contacting Golf Now management to let them know as well!

Great shape
Great course with 3 nines. Played all 3 over 2 different days. Only complaint is that on second day, the ranger said we were playing slow and had to pick up the pace or he would make us skip a hole. No one was pushing us but that did not seem to matter. We were all average to above average golfers and did not feel we were were playing slow. Might have felt different if we were being pushed by next foursome. We teed off about 6 minutes after our tee time (courses fault, not ours) so I think that was used against us by the rangers. Other than that, I would recommend this course and would come back and play again. Had a great lunch there both days we played.
Very disappointed in the condition of the greens for being one of the most expensive green fees in the area.

A course to consider
Course was busy and a large layout, great practice facilities and the pro shop staff was great: some interior tee shots for sure and the best greens I’ve played in Florida (been here 24 years played a lot of SWFLA courses)…..
