Perfect every time
I'm almost getting tired of writing the same review all over again. Heron Creek is consistently a flawless experience. Great track, great staff, great value.
Great course
Played here many times and have never been disappointed. Practice area is one of the best I’ve seen.
No food service
Plan was to have dinner but kitchen was closed at 6 pm on a Sunday . Surprising when there are 800 members to service.

Great experience
Course was in great condition particularly in comparison with other courses played in the Fort Myers area. Lots of tee options for all skill levels.
Great Course, bad pace of play
We stopped after 9 holes which took us 2 hours and 45 minutes. Ranger came out on hole 2 to tell us to keep up with group in front of us. Meanwhile that group had almost 2 entire holes distance between the group in front of them by hole 5 but no ranger in site after hole 2.

Played 5.5 hour round. Foursome ahead of us was almost 3 holes behind. Seen ranger once. Shrugged us off.

Hacker
This is one of the best courses in the area. It is reasonably priced and a friendly staff. Practice area is fantastic. If you are in the area you should play this corse, you will not be disappointed.

Back Nine Crash
Beautiful course with great practice facilities. Range plus very generous short game practice area. Tops!
Played early weekday and our front nine was awesome with a great pace of play. But Heron Creek uses their 27 holes as three separate 9's. So while we started on The Oaks, other players started on The Marsh (our back nine). When we got to the third tee of our back nine, The Marsh, there was a huge back-up. Pace of play crawled. This was disappointing. But I would play this course anytime. Always a treat to golf here.
Awesome course
A very good golf course. Some tough holes some not so tough holes. Enough tee decks for all skills. Very scenic with lots of birds and gators. Would definitely play again.

Visiting the area
Course offers 4 sets of tees, which appear to be set respectively to handicap ratings. Generous sized fairways I pretty good shape. Average sized greens that ran true and were pretty fast (maybe around 11 on the stimp)? Greens were really nice, help pretty well on approach shots. Water on course is really not in play for lower handicap players.
Saw lots of gators sunning at many of the ponds.
Pace of play was good, not fast and not snail pace. Saw a couple rangers on the course who were very friendly.
Good course , had a nice relaxing round.

The day we played they apparently had some club championship going on. If they told us ahead of time I would have changed the date. Took over 5 hours to play.
