Bluewater Bay Resort - Marsh Course

They reseeded greens they are getting much better, A little TLC out on course would help.

Great time, great employees. Tee boxes just punched.

Best value for money in area. Greens are getting better and still very few crowds

The course has it’s own challenges as all courses do and beautiful features alongside the bay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Not a walking course. Tee boxes need work. Otherwise a really nice players course. Enjoyed my round and will definitely play again.

Very nice course to play golf. It could use more markings for directions and to some of the holes

Made reservation, no one mentioned aeration issue.

Course was in better condition a couple years ago, I don’t think they put as much effort into the course since they’re closing some of the holes to build houses.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, but course was disappointing

Bluewater GC has improved over the past year. Only draw backs are that the course does not drain well so playing after rain showers effects play. In addition, the driving range is closed too often.

Course was recently aerated which we knew going in so kept expectations lower... a lot of people on here acting like they paid $100 and expected top notch for the area.. the course is fine and I would play it again... worst part was the greens were still sandy from being aerated and some of the fairways were holding a lot of water due to recent rains... I got a hot deal tee time and paid $24 and I’m not mad about what I got to play.

Greebs were just aerated this week. Not their fault for the calendar. Every course local is doing that this week. Fairways though we’re not great. Rough was awful. Tee boxes - well some didn’t exist and most were really unkempt. Views were just eh. The price was low. Fairways aren’t as tight as most let on. Would I play here again? Yes, I would like to try it again when greens are back.

I think Bluewater bay would pull in more 30a vacationers if not for the bridge and traffic. granted $8 round trip toll is not a crippler; more an inconvenience. Why don't they accept all EZ pass formats? Staff was exceptional professional and friendly. Carts in good shape (of coarse GPS would be helpful).

Only complaint is the lack of signage between the holes and the two courses.

Twice I got a little lost between holes.

Milligans the 19th hole is excellent. Bar, food, ambiance and the staff are great

We have lived in the area for 6 years and in that time have played Bluewater Bay probably 8 times in total over the years.

I have never seen the course in better condition than now. It appears they have applied more effort into maintenance since closing the 9 holes called Lake. Marsh and Bay remain with the former having more generous landing areas. Most greens are on the small side and overall I'd characterize the track as "target golf".

Pete the starter and Marshall was very friendly and a good agent for the establishment. We even enjoyed on course beverage services and the lady was very hospitable and respectful of the players. She even shared free peanut butter crackers.

I forgot my cell phone in the cart and the representative in the pro shop was very helpful in making sure it was safeguarded and returned to me, with a follow up phone call confirming it was located.

Overall a wonderful time was had by my foursome and we intend to return soon!
