About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Not a bad course. Probably overpriced. Tee boxes ok. Couldn’t play sand traps. Layout ok. No GPS on carts. Have been looking for courses around Tampa. Probably won’t play again. Nothing real negative.
Save yourself the time and money
Paid full price for a course that was under maintenance and several greens under repair. Watch out for the lawn mowers and tractors in the middle of the fairways when you tee off. If you’re a GolfPass Plus member do not try to utilize your benefits as the staff knows nothing about them and will be extremely rude and unprofessional toward you for asking about your benefits. This course was an absolute joke for the price. There are several other much nicer courses in the area for these prices.

Don’t acknowledge GolfPass Plus Benefits, Overpriced & Unfriendly Staff
Paid full price when several greens were under repair and in bad shape. Beware of interference from groundskeeping all over the fairways when trying to play. No starter and pace of play was terrible. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff in Pro Shop. The staff does not acknowledge GolfPass plus benefits like free BOGO range balls, or free same day replay. Definitely my first and last time playing this course. There are plenty of other much more well run and maintained courses in the area for these prices. Save yourself some time and frustration!

Great layout
Course was in very good condition. Greens were true and pretty fast.

Unable to do full round
1:08 tee time. Didn't get out until 1:35 due to lack of carts. Sunset is 5:40. Very slow play ahead. Wound up having to skip five different holes, passing slow groups, in order to finish by sunset. Course needs better cart management. Otherwise, a beautiful challenging course.

Good course for the money
Course overall was in good condition.
Greens had many patches so they should improve with time. Fairways were good and traps were poor. Course was wet so played long. Pins were placed away from the repaired areas so that helped. They were still pretty fast at around 10 on the stimp.

Great layout. Course was in excellent shape!!
1st time playing and the layout was challenging but very reasonable for an average golfer. Greens were in very good shape. The pace of play was slow. I went out as a single but quickly joined a 2 some that was behind me. We still waited on every hole. Wasn’t horrible but pace was slow I still highly recommend the course. Well worth the green fee.

Greens not the best
Work is being done on the greens so will take some time to recover. Should be much better when done. The rest of the course was good so overall a good day of golf.

Great course
Course was in very good shape and pro shop staff were great. Played the front nine in about 90 minutes in the mid afternoon. So no issues with pace of play.
