About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

AERIFICATION NOT AN ISSUE
Even though the course was recently aerated, the greens were rolling nice and in good condition. There were a few that had some small areas of fungus but pretty typical of a Florida course in July. The course layout is very well done.

It was ok
Not great- they didn’t let us know they punched the greens and what’s worse the beverage cart broke down so we went 18 holes with no cart girl. That was brutal- you would think the course would send someone out with waters and ice on a working regular golf cart. Also according to 3 employees I mentioned it too- the beverage cart breaking down is not uncommon. If it wasn’t for the sweet girls at the 13th hole selling refreshments from their house we might have walked off. Why courses don’t tell folks they are punching before you book a time is very odd. Seems to be a Florida dog track thing.

Punched Greens
Greens are punched and they were punched with a normal yard aerator so the holes are massive throughout the green … other than that some of the greens had just bare dirt spots, everything else was in pretty good shape

1st time playing but will definitely be back soon. Love the layout and design. Course was recently aeriated an greens still ran fast and pretty true. Do yourself a favor and play here if you get the chance. Staff was super friendly and courteous !!!

Course has been improving and now in very good condition.
Tees and fairways were excellent.
Greens very good
Sand traps had a lot of water in them and packed down solid. However, we have had a lot of rain lately. Understandable.

Best bang for your buck in Tampa
I’ve played about every course that will allow me to play in the greater Tampa area and heritage isles is one of my favorites. The price is great, $60 on weekend early. Course conditions are great. Few spots here and there but greens are fast and fairways lush. Tee boxes level and have grass. Layout of course is great in my opinion. aqua range with chipping and putting area. Restaurant has good food and drinks also. My group plays this course regularly in our rotation. There is better course and cheaper course but not many with the combination like this one.

Course conditions were good, aside from the bunkers which were unplayable (rained the night before, so it may not always be that bad). Got to tee off early, but waited the rest of the day on most tee boxes and a few fairways - took over 4 hrs to finish 18 holes on a very hot Thursday afternoon.
Best course I’ve played in the Wesley chapel area
The tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in perfect condition. Before I played it rained a lot but the course showed no signs of it. The course layout is definitely difficult, if you play the back two tees you find yourself teeing off between trees and having to make many decisions whether to lay up or attempt to carry. Overall this is my favorite course in the area and I will definitely be returning.

Outstanding Track!
Was fortunate enough to play Heritage Isles for the first time this year and was impressed by its overall condition! While other courses are struggling with drought, this one is in wonderful shape .. probably had only 1 or 2 tee boxes that showed wear and tear. Otherwise, fairways, greens, bunkers were in great shape! We had an outstanding outing made possible by the folks that are keeping things manicured as well as the friendly staff and bartenders. Definitely awarding Heritage Isles 5 stars - Get out and play it, you'll be pleased!

Country club 4
Was late for tee time but they were very nice about that let me go out started on back which was fine but when I got to first tee it was slow played 5 more holes then quit that was ok though course is very nice will be back
