Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club

Loved it! The course was very nice, greens were very good only a few bad spots on a few greens but otherwise very good condition. Fairways were good, rough was very very thick. About the only bad thing I can say is the bunkers were bad they need new or at least some sand, there wasn’t any sand in them, thank God I didn’t get in one. Will definitely play again.

The greens were incredibly slow in comparison to previous rounds played there. Also they are in need of more than the zero rangers we saw on Sunday. There's no one moving the slow play along, which is infuriating, especially when they want to rush you off of the first tee, to go nowhere fast.

A few of the greens had edges that were in such horrendous condition that in order to putt, you had to take relief.

I did recommend the course because despite the few glaring blemishes, the course has a great layout and the rough is a ball eating, club grabbing work of art. I haven't seen rough like that in a while, which made "cart path only" ruling tough to find wayward drives. So stay away if you're a cry baby, when the rough is short ankle deep.

Okay "hertiage isles" work on those greens and get back to those fast greens days, pretty please.

I played this course on 10/1. This was literally 3 days after a HURRICANE hitting the area. All things considered, the course was in fair shape. There are several greens with gashes in the filled with sand. I’m not sure if there was so diseased grass or some other issue. Hopefully they get their greens back. The course was cart path only but was dry enough on most golf to have driven on the hope. There were some SUPER soggy areas.

I have two major complaints about my round there.

1) the rough was so thick you could lose your ball in. I’m not against hard courses or difficult conditions but the rough was ridiculous. I’m not sure if it was just too wet to cut but it should be cut. This slowed the pace of play bc you could be 5 feet from the fair way and lose your ball. Also, I am a stronger weekend warriors but most regular players could not get the ball out of the rough. It’s nearly unplayable.

2) this one isn’t as much about the course per say buy vitally important. Around hole 7 I hit the ball down the left hand side in the rough (which I never did find). While looking for my ball one of the residents allowed their PIT BULL to get out of the house. The pit Bull proceeded to bark and snarl and back me down. I tried to show that I was surrendering his space but he remained aggressive. The owner felt ZERO sense of urgency about getting the dog and acted as though the dog was going to do me no harm. I had 3 good clubs in my hands… let’s just say I was prepared to use them at a moment’s notice. Fortunately one of the guys I was paired up with chased the dog away. This went on for several minutes. The course needs to build a gate or something. Things could’ve have been drastically

Very nice course not far from Tampa. Layout was challenging and setting is very beautiful. Course was very wet, so the ball didn't roll. Standing water in most sand traps was disappointing. Would definitely play there again if the conditions were drier.

We’ve been getting a lot rain in the area so the course was super wet.

The greens went through a rough stretch this summer but they’re coming back. Everything is a little “shaggy” right now but good reason. The course is looking green and will be great again soon.

I took this course for granted over the yrs. I played it again and thought this is a must play when in town... greens roll nice and once.you know the layout you can setup your shots. Grounds crew is doing an awesome job can't wait to see what it looks like in the winter months.

9 handi play few times a wk

I’ve played here several times but the latest round was disappointing. The greens are so long that putting is nearly impossible to judge the speed. The ball rolls so slow it’s almost like putting on your lawn. Fairways and tee boxes were in fair shape considering the time of year. Would not have had a problem if the greens were in normal shape.

Pace of play was horrid. Ranger comes around but doesn’t offer much help. It’s simply too hot to be playing 4.5-5 hour rounds

I played this course and it was in wonderful condition. There is a matted water range but it only has 3 targets as I remember. Other than that this course is very fun but challenging. I was paired with a father-son duo who were pleasant to play with as well. This is one of those courses you would struggle to play well your first time. Tee lines are difficult to determine on some holes your first go round. I played awful but not because of poor conditions. Greens were quick but fair. There are number of risk/reward holes which would make a match with your buddies fun and exciting. This isn’t a course I don’t would invite a beginners to take on as it has a lot of bunkers and water to put your ball in. I can’t wait to take a second swipe at this course soon!

One of the worst golf course staffs I ever experienced

Nice course with interesting layout and something for every level of golfer. Well maintained overall, but traps were mostly unplayable due to wet conditions. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and fair pricing on greens fees and food/refreshments. First time playing here, will be returning soon.

After a 1 1/2 hour drive from Kissimmee with countless back roads Heritage Isles was like an Oasis in the desert!!!

Every tee and green were in great condition and fairways near flawless!!! The course is a great challenge and I'll definitely return with a group!!!

The layout is really good some funky lay-up holes some water nice greens a little slow .Pace of play was very good for most of the day. I would play it again.
