About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Nice course and will come back. For the most part is wide open, but there are a number of risk/reward shots that you will have to make. Staff was very helpful and the pace of play was acceptable

Terribly Slow Play
I quit after hole 11. Pace of play was ridiculously slow. I was a single waiting on two foursomes. Three hours to get through 11 holes. Too long!

Rough around the edges
Of course is mostly in good shape there are a few greens that are very rough around the edges

Great
The course is great. Only a few things I see that need work. A few greens need some love. But not bad. The course has some holes that are challenging but good. It’s fun to play. Will be back.

Heritage Isles, a bit far from the Port Richey area, but well worth the drive. They have several sets of tees and we used the "senior" tee set and at just 5000 yds, it was really very nice as we were able to reach most par 4's in regulation with good shots. The course was in fine shape, the greens fast and the fairways cut close.....a very nice combination of holes.....lots of water and sand hazards, but nice wide fairways......would love to return again soon.....

I always play here but the greens are mot in good shape! I will keep playing because the layout is exciting!
