About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Greens were in good shape
The whole course was in good shape for this time of year. Bunkers need a little work and a Marshall on the course keeping pace of play moving would be a total plus.
Greens are the worst I have ever seen here before.
Course is nice, the greens need a lot of attention

Poorly managed
Too crowded. Little to no range balls available. Not very friendly staff when checking in. Greens are crap. Another low end course closed this summer and it appears those regulars are coming here. Course is jammed, super slow play. Ball marks galore on greens that are already in poor condition. Went a few weeks ago, lots of nice grass on the range but had us on mats. It’s just not what it could be.

Sad Greens
The greens here have typically been pretty good. Right now, not so good. Hopefully it is temporary. Staff is very pleasant as always. Also be forwarned, they are often out of range balls so suggest you call if you are planning to warm up on the range.

Very nice course
The issues I had during our round were of no fault of the staff really. Slow players ahead of us that really messed with our momentum.
Other than that, the greens were great and we had a nice round.
I did find it a bit weird that the bathrooms on one of the holes were closed/locked.

Over crowded and over priced
Got a large bucket of ball but half the driving range was closed. Never did get to hit balls.
Tee time was 20 minutes late and we waited on every hole.
No food on the food and beverage cart. Very limited on beverage selection. Cart girl said we could get a hot dog in the grill at the turn. Most places this would take 5 minutes. Our order took 25-30 minutes and we lost our place on the tee.
Couple all this with horrible greens and waiting on every shot…… no chance that I would ever go back to this dump

We quit after 11 holes because it was so slow, on top of that they put two groups in front of us on the back nine.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course.
