About
Heritage Isles is a scenic course that cut through native cypress heads and natural wetland areas. At 6,976 yards from the tips, it is one of the most demanding public golf courses in the Bay area. While water does come into play on all 18 holes the premium has been put on the short game. With large, meticulously maintained greens, those players who are handy on the putting surface should be able to shave a few strokes off their scores.

Course layout was good but very little grass in the fairway and most green were just dirt and sand would not play there again

When I come home from playing in the north, I always start with Heritage. Heritage helps me gets me ready to play Florida golf conditions.

Front nine a little slow but after that pace was fine Some of the greens rough around the edges. Got paired with a very nice couple from Tampa area. Thanks to them L and D

Not the best
Greens are rough shape
Pace of play was decent.

Great round!
Fairways and tee boxes were great, casts were clean and fast, and the green were good. Some patches here and there on the greens, but overall I’m better shape than most other courses.

So sad…
Heritage Isles was the second course I played in Florida. After moving here in September it became what I consider my home course. Place was excellent and staff was great. I was even happy to pay a rider fee for my 9 year old son to tag along.
But the rare appearance of a cart girl and the greens on the front 9 being mostly mud the last few rounds, I have begun the search for a new home course.
The pace of play gets worse each time averaging 4.5 to 5 hours for a round on Mondays. The starter seems lost and confused sending groups out of order and incomplete. The fairways are getting worse, bunkers are inconsistent at best and the mud greens on the front 9 are too much. This course has lots of potential but needs serious improvements before I’ll return.

Beautiful layout
The greens on the front nine were horrible. Should have temps on a few of them while they get it back in shape. Back nine green were very acceptable .
