Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club

Fairways improved from last time. Green nice grass .Greens were inconsistent as speeds were very fast on some yet others didn’t roll the same. Liked that starter let me play with a twosome and single together. I was a little disappointed in some of the players in my group as they were doing multiple shots when they were out of bounds. At first it was ok but as soon as a twosome got behind us they were holding things up. Like the wide fairways here.

The starter needs to relax. We aren’t in the military. Telling you you have to park you cart in a certain place waiting 15 min. To tee off. Then pairs you up with I’m sorry women that hit the ball maybe 100 yards. It’s real hard to get into a rythem. He needs to pair people up that are worthy or let certain groups go off as a two some.

The starter should find a different job. Makes your day to start out very frustrating. We aren’t in the military. Try hooking people up that would play together better. Not 2 older ladies with 2 men that hit the ball pretty good. He can move people around when ask to be moved. The course is good greens a little bumpy but good. Pace of play needs improving. I think because the starter pairs up the wrong pairing. You go out to have fun but it’s not fun when you can’t get a rythem going do you the couple your playing with either never played golf. Doesn’t know that you need to be ready to play in not on your cell phone. Makes for a long day and not fun

The starter isn’t someone I would have to get your round started. The last few times it’s like he’s running a military base. Orders you around. Doesn’t like where you park you cart to wait for your tee time. He hooks to guts up with 2 fairly old ladies. I stated this isn’t going to be fun playing with them. When 2 ladies where right behind us and they where playing with single guy that I had played with before. He wouldn’t switch us. He is to busy sitting under his tree talking to I think another worker and not actually making things good.

Track is in pretty good condition considering how dry it is in Tampa. Actually wet in some areas I’m assuming irrigation. Blue tee box on some holes in need of repair. Otherwise in good shape.

Challenging course yet wide enough to allow for all player types.

Everything was nice except the starter. He needs to be out on so you can see him. Not sitting under the awning where they return carts to be washed. He jumped on us for not checking in with him. Well if you don’t see him you can’t check in with him. I don’t need to be yelled at because he can’t actually be a starter.

The fairways are in great condition and greens are quite fast but run true

It is not a long course from the whites but some holes you have to make the right shot

Course is dry but in nice condition. Greens are fast and pin placements were tough. Fun in the sun!

Course is in very good condition. Enjoyed the round. Not a big fan of being hooked up with golfers you don’t know. Or are beginners which does interfere with your round.

Greens were fast and a little hard to read. Fairways were spotty in spots but not bad for this time of year. Overall a good round.
