Freedom Fairways

We played this course last year and were disappointed. The fairways were very dry and the greens were all tore up, apparently from being in the process of repairing them. A few of the holes on the greens were moved to the fairway because if it. We decided to give the course another chance and were pleasantly surprised. Will golf there again.

I booked last minute and ran into traffic, got there 8 minutes late for my tee time. I went into the pro shop to explain what happened and they said they were closed, but they don’t close until 3pm and I was there at 2:53.. The woman was rude and was not helpful, said to just call GolfNow to fix the situation. Freedom Fairways should not be the name of this course, more like Communist Fairways. Extremely not customer friendly. I do understand that was late on booking, but the customer service was just awful and not friendly. I will never play there again and recommend others not too as well.

I was very impressed with the layout and condition. Very challenging for a short course. Greens were in good and fast. I will definitely be back. My Fiancé is just starting to play and gets nervous when she’s on most executive courses but she really enjoyed this course and actually played her first 18 hole round there.

Nice course clean carts I would definitely do it again

I didn't like that I paid $18 on golf now and when a buddy joined the group and paid at the course it was cheaper.

Unfortunately, the course was not in great shape. The greens had not been cut so the putting was VERY slow. The layout is not bad...it is an excutive course. Plenty of water.

The course has always been my go to course when there's no one to play with from my Sunday group. It's hit or miss with the clubhouse lady, somedays she's mean like an old rattlesnake.

As for the course, the greens are always slow, which I understand, today all of them had some amount of sand on them. Some of the ter boxes have seen better days. For the most part all of the fairways are in decent shape. The carts are not in too bad a shape.

Overall you're not playing there if you're looking to play a great course, it is an executive course and plays like one. I quite enjoy playing there instead of going to a range and I have always played under 3hours, my fastest time was 2hours. Today I started at 9:30 and was done by 12 and I had a foursome with 2 groups of 2 in front of me. I hit 2 balls most of the round so I could get my practice in for next weekend.

The course is fairly narrow and there are lots of opportunities to put a tee shot in the water. We played this as our first tune up round for the season and the greens were not in the best of shape, We had a good time and could finish quickly because the course is much shorter than most. Think of this as an executive course and if you are out for a quick and sometimes challenging round at a reasonable price,, this course is a good selection.

Front nine somewhat rough, back nine better shape. Staff very friendly and helpful, but course could use a little work.

A more challenging course than the 3210 yard, 63 par rating might suggest. It was my third visit with the aim of improving accuracy of shots. Based on past experience, I did well to replace the driver with a ball picker. Best strategic decision for narrow fairways with short slopessteeping down to alligator habitats..

Course conditions were very good on a cool, misty day, except for the first three greens that were not green on several large patches. Watch out for the fairway of the 18th, marshy!

I recommend this fun course.

The is really an executive course. The par 4s are long par’s. No par 5’s. It is a great course for the 60+crew.
