Lexington Oaks Golf Club

Course was wet and muddy in spots but otherwise ok. Had rained some last night and earlier I guess.

Booked reservation thru Lexington Oaks web site Sunday for Monday and paid in full for fees and taxes. At counter Monday was charged an extra $10.00 for use of a cart??? Said it was owner's policy because he doesn't make any money from using the golfnow service and was supposed to be noted on website. Makes no sense when all bookings form website use this service I guess. It wasn't noted anywhere and have never seen this before. Booked directly thru course's website.

Ridiculous.

I have played this course numerous times. It can be extremely difficult if played from the tips, but as an "experienced" player (a polite way of saying OLD) and playing from the whites is was fun. Tee boxes were good, fairways were good, the rough was playable, and I should know I spent way to much time there. The traps looked as if they all had new sand in them, but I was lucky enough not to test any of them. The greens for the most part were good also. A few greens had some issues but it looked like the superintendent was working on the problems. All I can say just get out and play this track, you won't be disappointed.

course is in good shape, couple of greens under repair but overall it was a enjoyable round of golf.

The layout is nice and it has a lot of challenging holes.

The course is in the best condition I have seen it in a long time.

This course since reopening has been great. The greens though still pretty hard roll fast and true and are always a good challenge. On fri sat Sunday their prices beat the courses close by that are far superior. The layout is very playable from all levels. Back nine has IMO the more fun 9. With a 120yd par 3 a 300yd par 4 and almost a 600 yd par 5 that have undulated greens with multiple levels and challenges, but if you hit it well you could score well on these holes.

For the value you can’t beat these greens and tee boxes.

No corse marshal so after 3 1/2 hours and only finishing 13 I threw in the towel. There were several times where there were 2 foursomes backed up on a tee box

I enjoyed playing here today, although the course was soaked with lots of mud. Greens were in excellent condition and ran pretty fast, which I like. However they are as hard as a rock and even very high shots have trouble staying on the green. I wish they were just a little softer.

Many holes are tight and have long carries, but nothing extraordinary. You do have to think your way around the course. I gave the course 4 stars based on the fact that it will not be this wet forever. All in all a good day.

Great morning in Tampa to play at LO. Greens were in perfect shape and fairways were getting some roll.

The course was lush and green everywhere. The greens have come in nicely after the recent routine punching. The fairways are nice to play from, and even the rough is not too tough for regular players to recover from. The par 3s are picturesque. The course is fair and varied for all levels of golfers. Highly recommend!

Conditions on the course were good, but found that some of the greens had inconsistent speeds. Some greens ran faster than others. Some were fuzzy and ran much, much slower. Hard to read at times and either ran the ball way past the hole or left short. All and all, a good day out. Looking forward to playing this course again, but will probably wait to play in the fall.

Really great course we played right after a huge rainstorm. The greens were still fast and true. Also, the sand traps were completely drained moments after the storm stopped.

This currently is One of the better Courses in the Area, as far as greens, and fairways. The course is challenging with alot of water coming into play. It is one of our favorites also, especially when we can get on for under $30.
