Mayfair Country Club

It was an excellent day of golfing. It was windy but my son and I had a great time.

The course is in very good shape despite the construction going on for the new clubhouse. The driving range is just hitting into a net (due to ongoing construction) 50 feet in front of you so nobody is on that. This makes the chipping/putting practice areas very congested. Since it isn't easy getting to the current clubhouse, it would've been really nice to have a beverage cart running on the course. It was a great day on the course nonetheless.

They’ve really let this course go. Absolutely horrendous shape.

Unfortunately the course was not in good condition. Lot of rough patches around all the fairways. The greens were ok.

Greens are great. Fairways are a little hard. They are putting a lot of money into the old course and it shows. One of the bangs for your buck in the Orlando area.

The course is under repair so not in the best shape but I’d wait another year to play. The greens aren’t bad and they have great hot dogs, otherwise it’s a goat track

The work on the clubhouse continues and leads to some parking woes. The greens are in decent shape but fairways and tee boxes need some work! Pace of play wasn't bad as we finished 18 holes in 3 hrs and 40 minutes!

Frequent player of this course. Some of the fairways were a little patchy, especially on the back. But overall great round on a fun course

1. Very unfriendly & unkind staff at pro-shop.

2. Mgmt should put sign boards where to drive cart for next hall dividing tee-box per each hall.

3. Try to put some more grasses at all ground in fair way.

If some efforts done, will recommend this course to others.

It's always nice to see Scott, and know that the course I grew up hitting balls is making a come back. It's unfortunate nowadays, we still can't sort out why it's easier to judge than accept. Other than navigating the locals, this is one of my favorite courses.

Agree with another poster - greens are fairly nice condition, though the location of where pins were previously cut makes their appearance somewhat pockmarked - it was not uncommon to have a dozen or more previous pin locations within a 50 sqft area - (how often are they setting up new pins - and why withing a few fet of multiple other pin positions?). Lots of bare spots/sand on fairways. We saw at least three 5-somes playing - not sure why that was allowed (one ahead of us and two behind us), although the group ahead kept a pretty good pace, so it was not an issue. We were concerned, as were on a tight timeline, but this time not a problem. Rate was reasonable, so we might consider playing again, but would not go out of our way to do so. Playing the senior tees shortens the course considerably.
