Mayfair Country Club

They are building at new club house so all of the budget is going into that project apparently. Tee boxes are bad, greens are just fair when they once were great. Pace of play has always been an issue. We finished the front nine in an hour and a half. We caught up with the regular crowd on 9. It took another 2 and a half hours to do the back. Course is always slow so we kinda knew it was going to happen eventually in the round. I'll wait until the club house is finished and wait for the next Sanford budget year before returning.

I love playing Mayfair. The management has done a good job improving the greens and most T-Boxes. Some of the fairways need a bit of improvement. But overall a great course for a reasonable price. Once they complete the new clubhouse it will definitely improve the overall experience.

Unfortunately the tee boxes and fairways are in very poor condition and the construction for the new clubhouse/restaurant has turned the parking lot into a complete dust bowl.

The greens are decent and the ball rolls fairly well for the most part.

So I’d recommend to play somewhere else for at least the next 6 - 8 months or so until the construction is complete and money has been put back into the course.

OK course if you know what your getting. Greens were fairly good, but many breaks at the hole. OK for the price

Disappointed in the course overall, tee boxes have very little grass, fairways are poor and greens were average. Will not be going back to play again.

It would appear that the fairways are struggling due to lack of water which meant we played from preferred les. The greens weee outstanding with some tough pin positions which I suspect protect the course from really low scores. The bunkers weee in good condition and the variety in length of holes from various tee boxes was good and beneficial to all. We played a four ball at 810 am and had completed 18 holes before midday. The cart personnel were extremely friendly. It is not a course I would play regularly, but certainly one I would play again. We enjoyed our day out.

What a disaster, from the bag drop off, you deal with a not friendly starter with an attitude, to the parking in a dirt lot, to the tee boxes are dirt, and the fairways are scarce with patches of grass..could use a little water. Greens were patchy, some were cut, some were fast, no consistency with any of the holes on the course. For the price it should be a 10$ course, not worth the time, aggravation, and definitely cost to go enjoy a round of golf there. If you are thinking about going there, pace of play is slow, wouldn’t recommend it. Even though they have money for a new clubhouse they are building, but for a scarce golf course.

Course is in rough shape. Tee boxes and fairways were terrible. Greens though were great, props to them for that. Hoping once construction is done they start working on the fairways and tee boxes. Layout is great, so can be an amazing course.

It was an excellent day of golfing. It was windy but my son and I had a great time.

The course is in very good shape despite the construction going on for the new clubhouse. The driving range is just hitting into a net (due to ongoing construction) 50 feet in front of you so nobody is on that. This makes the chipping/putting practice areas very congested. Since it isn't easy getting to the current clubhouse, it would've been really nice to have a beverage cart running on the course. It was a great day on the course nonetheless.

They’ve really let this course go. Absolutely horrendous shape.

Unfortunately the course was not in good condition. Lot of rough patches around all the fairways. The greens were ok.

Greens are great. Fairways are a little hard. They are putting a lot of money into the old course and it shows. One of the bangs for your buck in the Orlando area.

The course is under repair so not in the best shape but I’d wait another year to play. The greens aren’t bad and they have great hot dogs, otherwise it’s a goat track
