Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Good Course - Until Ran Into Slowest Foursome

Played a nice nine holes then ran into foursome that took twenty minutes to play a par four and wouldn’t let anybody play through. No Marshall, no recourse, so I left. Course was in nice shape for being in the middle of 100 degree heat.

Nice Course

Great course layout. Fairways in good condition. The sands were horrible. Mud and full of water on several holes. Too much watering near the sands.

Overall a fun course

Great overall course. Staff was great. Grass range and putting green were a perk.

We had a 10am tee time in the beginning of Summer. So it was hot. Bunker sand was pretty hard and didn't play like a bunker. Would prefer softer sand. It was more like dirt than sand.

Greens were ok but there were so many unfixed pitch marks so it was rough.

We got a Hot Deal for this round and it was great for that price. Basically half off for a Saturday round.

I would go back but definitely not in the summer.

Horrible pace of play, no marshalls

Horrible pace of play and zero Marshall’s on the course. Waited every. Single. Shot.

Staff is all young; new generation type customer service so don’t expect much. Greens were aerated but was not disclosed to us. Fairways were in good condition. Overall not bad for the cost on a Saturday.
