About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Course in good condition
This is always one of my favorite courses. The layout is challenging, but fair. Overall- fairways were in good shape.
The one area where improvement is needed- is the bunkers. They were in terrible condition !!! Most bunkers didn’t have sand- just dirt- and they haven’t been worked in quite some time. Most were hard as a rock, large pebbles all over and weed clumps in many of them. I found four bunkers during the round- and had no clue how the ball would come out.
Unacceptable for a course of this caliber !! Hopefully they correct this one fault.

Pace of play was terrible!
5 and 1/2 hours and no marshals on the course.
Bar closes at 4 so beer and football after the round.

Though for my level of play,this is corase is some what of a challange, I love playing here on , either side.Always in wonderful condition, staff is very courteous and professional. I would compare this corase with any in Palm Springs !

So much potential
Maybe it’s just time for overseeding/yearly maintenance but players here definitely dont to fix their ball marks and fill their divots. Great deal for only $35 though

Love this game
Though I'm just a novice, golfer,would definitly like to get out more, I do enjoy each time I am able to make it out there. And with corases like Tukwet close by, that is easy to do!

5 hour round
Played as a foursome behind a single, the single had two open holes in-front of them and our round took 4 hours and 50 minutes. 90 degree cart path rule in effect and not able to drive off the path on the back nine. Over 100 degrees outside and no coolers or ice for the carts ,the restaurant/ concessions facility is only open Fridays and weekends.Staff is friendly.

Challenging But Slow
After 4 hours, we had only made it to the 12th hole. I had to leave because it was getting dark. Other than the pace the course is fun to play.

Very Slow.
We had to wait for 5-10 minutes at ever holes . It took 3hours 15 minutes to finish first 9 holes.
We called pro shop to complain about this slow play but prosho already closed.
Eventually we couldn’t finish 18holes.
We need to get rain check for this.
It is really bad ^^^^
