Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

A Jr golf event was held in the morning and I've never seen so many divots on the greens that were not repaired.

Teach the young golfers to fix their divots.

Overall it’s a good course. The only thing I didn’t like was the pace of play and the amount of holes there are on some of the fairways. Gopher holes?? Who knows. Still a good course.

Champions Beautiful course

Got a hot deal and it was totally worth it .. they just mowed the rough so it’s easier to see and find you ball instead of losing it. Cart lady came around frequently. Tee boxes need some tlc but not bad. Fairways are nice. Greens play true but can be tricky. Overall a great course no matter the price

Great value

Spent the morning here with my wife and 2 sons. I was worried that the pace of play would be a issue but I was wrong. Pace of play was great. Marshall came by every so often to check the course ensuring pace would be good. The course is my favorite in the area. Kept up well and staff was friendly. The bonus was the cart girl, I think we saw here at least 5 time during our rd. Will definitely go back.

Great course

Tukwet offers 2 courses, Legends and Champions. Both are fun to play and both have been kept up nicely. My opinion is Tukwet is the nicest course in the area. There are some fun holes with good challenges, especially if you get yourself into a SandTrap. The golf carts are nice with touch screens to keep your score, provide distance to hole information and you can link up your phone to play music.

Worst Bunkers in So Cal

This course is really nice, EXCEPT FOR THE BUNKERS!

There is no sand in the bunkers. It's either clay, mud, or hardpan. They suck! What more can I say?

pace of play

Great course, horrible management to allow so many golfers on the course. They can easily charge more and have less players to make it a great time. Also there's no marshals looking for groups holding up play, almost got in a fight with the group behind us complaining we to slow when there where two groups in front of us backed up.
