About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Under the Weather
I was feeling Under the Weather and was not able to make it, but already paid .
Excellent course
Level of play is moderate. Course layout is more difficult then most. Course is in excellent condition
Needing Some Upkeep
The practice facilities at their course are very nice and the staff is friendly. But the courses are not being kept up as they were previously. Thanks he traps are in poor shape, unkept with vegetation growing in many of them, standing water, hard pan unraked. Rough is unkept also, not sure if that’s intentional but it was better maintained previously. Still a decent course with some fun holes.

Poor conditions
I’ve played this course in the past several times. This was the first time in about 3 years. I was saddened by condition of the course. Bunkers where the worst I’ve ever seen. Weeds everywhere. Their greens where definitely the only thing they are taking care of. I thought when the tribe took it over they would make it a 1st rate resort. Unfortunately it’s gone in the opposite direction.

Where is the sand
Been here a lot, their is no sand in the bunkers and their hasn't been for years. Might as well remove all of the bunkers

Great Value for a Round of Golf
This was the first time that I played the course. Had to drive an hour to get there, but well worth the price. We played the Champions Course.
The weather was ideal the day we played, a gentle wind and about 90 when we finished at 2:30 pm.

Great course. The back nine is a test of your game. All of the greens are a test of your putting.

Falling apart
I’m sorry but the recent reviews are either fake of they don’t play much golf. This course gets worse each time I play. The bunkers are full of weeds and dirt. Absolutely ridiculous. They have multiple areas that have water leaks causing a large waste of water. The restaurant and snack shack are closed. The driving range is pure crab grass. Overall it is quite apparent they are letting the course go. Someone who cares about the course and it’s history as well as it’s potential needs to take over! Really sad!
Can't Beat the Value
Both courses at Tukwet are immaculate and you cannot beat the value in the evening. My only complaints for this place would be the overly strict GPS on the golf carts. You can find yourself in strange spots with the cart shutting done even though you're nowhere near the green, we've been in the middle of a fairway and it shut down. The other, often times the range is closed before our round.
I say that to say this, is any course perfect? No, but this is as close as it gets.

This could be so much better if there was any type of customer service.
No one takes your bag when you arrive. No one offers to clean your clubs before or after the round. No water on the course to drink or ice on the carts. No water in the ball washers. Bunkers play inconsistent because of the hard pan in some and soft sand in others. And the biggest negative is the horrible condition of the driving range. But the price is very reasonable and it is a professional layout.
A fun solo time
Ended up playing as a solo due to the rest of my tee time changing.
It was a fun decently challenging course.
The conditions were good over all except for a few bunkers that were more mud than anything else.
Overall very happy and will play again.

Course is Challenging but fair
Staff is very friendly at check in, the carts are clean and fully charged, And the starter gets you on the course for your tee time to ensure a good pace or play.
