About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

if the fee is low its a good deal
Fair condition. Not even good. Teea some good some bad. The greens are too soft and look like the moon surface. Picture your put rooling over that! Weekend under 70 bucks its ok. Under 50 week day is good.
They let it go like so many other courses becausebyou people will pay regardless.

Tee boxes not in good shape, greens had divots not repaired, no Marshall's so round was 5 hours. Needs some love.

Always fun and challenging
Greens are fast and pace of play was solid. Finished in 3hrs and 30min. Only frustrating thing here is you will lose some balls in first cuts that you really shouldn’t lose. Other than that great outing

A challenge
Course was in great shape. Fair layout, but not senior friendly. A lot of walking due to cart access limits to green. Carts "stop" when within 40-50 yds from greens. Talked to head pro and said that cart access limits can be adjusted for access. Have tried to set up a tee time & contact head pro about this issue, but no success. Staff in pro shop do not seem interested in helping with the cart issue. My Dad is 88 yrs old and has 2 knee replacements and likes the course but the walking to the greens and back to the cart wears him out. Just wish staff could be more accommodating concerning cart issue.

Be ready to strategize!
This course was built to test your skills and shots. To me it felt like a tactical course where you may have to plan your shots ahead, whether you are laying up to get a better line or just skipping trees to get closer to the pin. The staff was awesome and would love to go back again!

After driving 40 miles, I discovered that the course was closed (with no advance warning), so I didn’t get to play …. I trust that Golf Now will credit my account both the greens fee and the $10 monthly credit I used
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.
Decent Value
Challenging layout for golfers of any and all skill levels.
Greens could use some attention, some traps had some good size rocks in them and were inconsistent around the greens.

This is the last time I play here
I’ve played here for over 20 years and never has it been this bad. The course is fine but they are no longer managing pace of play which turns an enjoyable round into a nightmare. Yesterday we called for the Marshall twice and we’re told that one was on their way but no one ever showed up. Our round took over 5 hours because the group in front of us were a hole and a half behind the entire round. Further, they don’t seem to care about the amount of trash on the ground all around the club house. It’s really embarrassing because this used to be a great track. Don’t think I’ll ever be back, there are far better experiences around for the same $70.

FUN LAYOUT., INCREDIBLY SLOW. THERE WAS MARSHALS ON THE COURSE BUT THEY SEEM TO BE CHATTY WITH THE FOLKS BUT NOT KEEPING PLAY MOVING. DROVE FROM LA TO PLAY. WONT DO IT AGAIN BASED ON THE SLOW PLAY

Great course worth it
Beautiful well kept and I would say pretty amazing course it’s not my favorite to play even though it’s a hour drive away, recommend to everyone of all levels to play at least once, staff was cool and the whole course was amazing

Nice course
I enjoyed all 5 hours and 15 minutes of it. Not sure if this is normal as I’ve only played here in a couple of scramble tournaments. I’ll try it again. The course is in great condition and the layout is great
