About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Tukwet is awesome.
Had a great time at Tukwet/Morongo Saturday. The conditions of the course were pretty good the staff was amazing I called ahead of time for food and the timing was perfect. They seem to be an excessive amount of golfers that day so the pace of play was over 4 1/2 hours but the price, $60 was worth the drive and the course was in great shape and the layout is great. We played from The tips but we normally play from the blues. Had a great time still shot pretty well considering. Highly recommend this venue

Challenging course. Greens in great shape. I enjoyed the layout. Good price for seniors. Would have liked to have an occasional ball washer either on the course or cart

Greens were great, course had been over seeded so it’s gonna be great in a few weeks.

Thought it strange the bar and golf shop were both closed when we finished at 4:30???

Fun but VERY DIFFICULT course...
Booked Champions for the morning and Legend for the afternoon.
Unfortunately, The Champions course only allowed cart to the rough due to a seeding on the fairway. This made the round even more difficult.
Bunkers should be avoided. Very deep bunkers and no sand tons of rocks that can damage your club.
The view of the course were great.

Poor operation
Should let people know carts are not allowed on fairways, pro shop closed at 4pm, a group jump in front at 11 and was super slow, called twice, reservation answered, said proshop closed and will send out a Marshall, no one came, called again, said she will leave a voice-mail to cart barn employee to come out, nobody came, we didn't get to play last hole due to darkness.

Great but slow
It was a great course! The only issue was the pace of play was being held up by a couple groups in the front, other than that, the layout was fun, the carts are amazing and the views are great

Worst round ever
Tukweet has always been a nice course to play and drive out 60 miles. The first 9 went fairly good pace about 2 hours, then we got to the back 9. A group was just teeing off, and another on deck and then us. As we tee off 10 we see a group driving back and they said it was bad but no explanation. We get tot he 11th tee and two groups ahead of us waiting and another just teeing off. We saw another group heading back and told use 12, 13, and 14 had three groups and so it was looking like a four hour back nine so we quit. Never have I ever quit a round but I was not going to play a 6 hour round. I may never play here again as there are other course I can drive 60 miles and get a better experience.
