About
Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Always a blast
I've gone to a few times over the years and have you yet to find this course in bad shape. Greens played a little fast because of watering but overall they well maintained through out.

Super nice fairways! But an even nicer starter! Greens rolled nicely but people really need to fix their divots! Pace of play was great. Would definitely play here again!

1st time at this challenging course
Overall for the value, the course is great. Fairways, roughs, and greens could use some TLC. A lot of varietal grass growing in the roughs and some parts of the fairways. Greens have a lot of ball marks and scars, not an excuse for my poor putting though. Golf carts and GPS were working almost perfectly, usb charging port was not working but not a big deal IMO. Only saw the cart lady once in 18 holes. Fun and challenging course.

Had a great time played in four hours green were a little bumpy due to players not repairing the ball marks.
Fairways were a little over watered but in great condition

Played Champions
Course is in great condition, very well manicured. Even after the hot summer we’ve had the course looks great, grounds crew is doing a amazing job! Layout is the tougher of the two. Greens are fast!

It was hot but the bigger problem was group n front. Too slow. Greens were good but some folks didn t repair ball marks!

Champions Course - A Great Layout
This course has a fantastic layout with a great variety of holes. However there were many areas that were over-watered - causing mud-balls on almost every hole! (And I played between 9 AM - 1 PM) The greens rolled ok, but there were far too many unrepaired ball marks to get many true rolls! I could have spent 15 minutes repairing ball marks on every green - and that would have covered about 1/4 of the unrepaired ball marks. A good course - but not 5 stars.

1st time playing course and could improve some area’s
Played course with family today. Course looked great and we enjoyed it but we were surprised when the Snackbar and pro shop was closed . After 3pm we couldn’t purchase anything to drink and most of the water containers on the course were empty. My suggestion would be to bring an ice chest especially if it warm out.

Worst Round of Golf
This was the slowest/ most painful round of golf in years. Honestly I wish we would of went back to the club house and asked for a rain check. It took 5 1/2 hours to finish. It was terrible.
