Situated amongst the foothills of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon boasts 36 holes of scenic championship golf. The two courses, the Champions and the Legends, are some of the area's most popular. The older Champions Course is host to the PGA Tour Q-School and it is a Nationwide Tour Qualifier. It is such a popular tournament location that it is known as the "home of the Southern California PGA." The Champions is a challenging but playable layout with tight fairways and numerous steep-lipped bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is also thick, treacherous rough that will swallow any errant shots. Also included in your tee time is unlimited use of the practice facilities, which include an all-grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Very good layout, in a beautiful setting!

Very nice course in good condition, excellent greens! The big problem was pace of play, 5 HOURS!!!! 4th hole had a four group backup! Called pro shop and was on hold for 20 minuets while waiting for the tee to clear. Made a nice day pretty frustrating. Will definitely not play again on the weekend.

Thanks for the Memories

It truly saddens me that I cannot honestly give this course a favorable review. My son played many of his Jr. Golf tournaments here 10 years ago and my family has many fond memories. However, the course and maybe the entire environment is of different condition and feel these days. No sand in ANY bunker, but water in most?! Ragged fairways. Overall, it simply looks like a business that isn’t doing as much business as it did 10 years ago. But thanks for the memories.

Challenging Track in Bad, Unkept Condition

Sad. This was a great course 8-9 years ago when I last played. Now...Uncut rough...No sand...and I mean NO sand in ANY bunker on the course. Has a real don’t care look

A Steady Slide Downhill

I wish I could say some good things about this course. I do love the layouts of both courses. But these courses are gradually going downhill - in almost every area. First, the sand traps (especially green side bunkers) are not sand traps. They are rock hard dirt traps. There hasn't been sand in most of these bunkers for YEARS! Second, the condition of the fairways is average to poor. Many areas of uneven grass. I had several lies in the rough that were better than my fairway lies. Third, the tees are getting more uneven and beat up every year - no upkeep has been done on the tees for decades (since the course opened). And finally the greens... If it weren't for the dozens of un-repaired and improperly repaired ball marks on every green, the greens would be in pretty good shape. Golf courses need maintenance! The courses themselves - not just the club house and the bar/restaurant. Please at least do something with the dirt traps (they are not bunkers)! Add sand maybe? Or actually dig up the dirt - for at least 2 inches. Not just the silly 1/2 inch on top - so that it LOOKS like there is sand (but there isn't). Spend some $ on these courses.

Fine Course

Champions is a great layout and the course was in great shape other than the inconsistent bunkers. Some were fine and others lacking sand. Nonetheless fairways and greens were pristine.

Amazing course

This course is amazing. The greens, fairway and bunkers are in great condition. You need to hit the fairway to have a chance to get it to the green if you don’t the rough is thick and will be playing for bogey. The greens are fast and have false fronts and contours which makes it tough to keep on the greens if you shot goes left or right

Nice condition

Course is in pretty nice condition minus the thin sand/mud bunkers and there are a lot of them. Better not spray ball or you will be donating to the golf gods. Good day all and all. Good place to test you game
