Great people. Fun courses
The staff is very friendly and always ready to help if needed, like this golf course, just needs a little work on their sand traps. We golf there a lot and bring family and friends when possible. Always a fun day.
Wind was horrible and wouldn’t give a rain check also all the greens where air aided so didn’t get to put at all because I was better off putting from the rough than the greens
Consistently Good
I’ve been playing this course on and off for about 5 or 6 years and can always count on the course being in consistently good shape. Enjoyed my round today, pace of play was excellent and the course is a really good value for the money.
Another course ruined
Ashwood used to be an enjoyable round. Short but challenging with wind. Great practice facility. Now, under new management. It’s a pain in the butt. Some of the staff treat you like your 2nd class. Practice is still what it was but no pdp anymore and they don’t take care of the practice tees. Very disappointing to come here. Prob not coming back. Classic example of a course run by people who don’t know who their customers are. Shame
Great condition
The course was in prestine condition. Greens were true and fairway was nice. Not busy on Thursday afternoon. Really enjoyed golf and nice layout.
Great Challenge coarse
So I got to play on Birch & Mesquite... had a great time with the person they paired me up with, the coarse wasn't confusing at all. I really enjoyed playing the water hazards. They are lengthy, but push you to take that shot right over the water & onto the green. I didn't lose any balls & as close as the houses look, the fairways are pretty wide. Last but not least, the greens. Besides the geese poop all over, the putting greens ran smooth & I even got to sink in a 40ft put with not having to worry about fast_slow greens.
Great value round on a nice course
I booked a tee time for me and a buddy for 18 holes with a cart at like 12:52 I think and it was under $40!! Can't beat that and it was a beautiful day. The course was in good condition for being winter and their bathrooms on the course are so much nicer than most courses around here. Pace of play was not to bad but we did have to wait a few minutes for the group in front of us before most shots but we finished in about 3 hours and 15 min so it was not to bad. It is a shorter course with no par 5's so it gives you a chance to work on your short game and play a different strategy than you would on a par 72 course.
