Sugarmill Woods Country Club - Pine Course

Played a year ago and the course has been cleared up a lot! And the carts are ver nice, clubs stay on the car lol overall end of December we truly enjoyed!

Weather wise it was a beautiful day on the course but it’s gonna take at least another season to get this course to where it needs to be. The greens are looking much better but need to be rolled, your ball doesn’t roll to the hole, it bounces and you’d be hard pressed to find hit able grass on the fairways. The new owners are trying their best to get this course back in shape but it’s gonna take time. As long as they offer discounts it’s not a bad deal.

I can see improvement. Last time I played it about 6 months ago I thought they would shut down. Font is great back just needs greens to fill in. I will be back.

Much better. Greens in front are looking and playing good. Overaeeding back 9 but coming along. Tee boxes are hit or miss but playable. Fairway’s generally good. Bunkers look pretty good.

New carts a big plus! Getting better every time.

The New owners of Sugarmill Woods and Citrus National Golf courses are making great progress and improvements to both courses,Clubhouses and facilities.

Haven’t played here for 12 months

A lot of work has been done, greens are getting in great shape and will be excellent once winter grass gets cut to final length

Tees have much improved and sand traps have new sand and rakes

All in all a great outing

I can tell that the new owners are trying to improve things. Greens are looking better. Starting to put in new cart paths. Keep up the good work !!!

Haven’t played here in a while because the conditions were horrible but saw the review that it was improving so took the chance. The front nine greens were better then they have been in years, while the back nine is a work in progress. Some of the greens they should have just torn out and started over instead of patching them (forget about a descent putt), the fairways are thin but I hear their gonna over seed. All in all the new ownership is giving their all to bring this course back from what the old owners left them which was a mess. Will play again in the future.

The course is much improved from a year ago. The back nine greens are still a work in progress. But new ownership seems to be getting the course in the right direction.

Greens are being worked on. Terrible at this time.
