RedTail Golf Club

Just finished playing Redtail it’s the best I’ve ever seen it play. The greens are plush , fairways are absolutely beautiful. It’s not a ounce of dirt on the course from the previous months. I would recommend this course a 10 out 10. It’s amazing the work they have done to get it back and even better!!

Course is in good shape. Damp in spots due to rain.. in two weeks greens will be mint

I heard the greens and overall golf course was struggling earlier this year, they have recovered now. Great layout, always a challenge and fun. The drainage is excellent, especially after the wet weather we have had recently.

Course has minimal carts and very few practice balls. They are closed for aerification this week but there are no alerts on the tee times and no discounts. There are weeds everywhere. Not worth the money or drive.

Red Tail is back. Greens very good now. Fairways beautiful. Held up to the rain well also. Great track. Bring your A game or it will be a long day. Welcome back RED TAIL.

Course is confusing. Had to ask people on other greens where next hole was. Had golfers ask us where next hole was.

NO GPS on carts.

2 fairways had swamps/ ponds in middle of tee shot landing area.

Rakes were hit or miss at sand traps.

Tee boxes were generally nice.

Greens were slow-and golfers weren’t fixing ball marks on greens!

No ball/club washers on course or carts-and course muddy due to rain.

Clubhouse was members only, so no sitting or eating inside .

Better courses and prices in area, won’t be returning.

First time playing course. NO GPS, pro shop was out of water.. no ball washers on cart or at tee boxes.. saw cart girl in front nine, but not back. Very confusing layout- had people ask us where next hole was, we searched about 5 minutes after finishing hole to find next one. Conditions were wet, no big deal , BUT 2 holes had a swamp in the middle of the fairway-that you couldn’t see. Hit my best drive of the day right into one! Tee boxes were ok, fairly weedy, but you tee up anyway. The course has more moguls than an Olympic ski course. Blind shots that ended up on a downslope or upslope. Rakes were hit and miss in the traps- and you couldn’t see them from where you hit. (Fairway and some green side) greens were good,, but because fairways were so hilly, greens should have been sloped to make you read breaks-mostly straight flat. For the money, not worth the drive.

This remains a good layout in the NW corner of the Orlando Metroplex. Requires a lot of course knowledge as there are hidden hazards. Tee to green was in excellent shape, but some bunkers were muddy. Pro shop is spartan. Eating facilities are odd -- the main grill is spacious but there is no snack bar type option, and that main dining area isn't open for any kind of breakfast sandwich or similar.

It's an interesting track in that it looks like it once aspired to be more than it is. For the price point, it's a good round of golf.

Played Father’s Day ‘21 here. First time at red tail and it did not disappoint. We had an early tee time, friendly staff got us checked in smoothly, went and hit a small bucket at the range and off we went. First impressions, nice facility, carts were clean and worked well. Course was impressive, tee boxes, most fairways and all greens in great shape and rolling nicely. We really enjoyed the challenge of the course but still had a great time. One of our new favorites and we will be back for sure. They even have a great military/Leo/uniformed discount. Thanks again Red Tail staff!! Especially Ryan was extremely helpful!

I'm part of a local group that plays a lot around Central Florida. We hadn't been out here yet. Had to check it out. RedTail is in top-notch shape. They had a rough time with the greens earlier this year...but they are BACK. Hat tip to the course super & crew for their hard work. The clubhouse staff will treat you right. Everything was great from beginning to end. Great service, great day, fun and challenging course, scenic views of some horse farms. We couldn't believe we had the course to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon. Worth the drive, even through SR46 traffic. Get out there! I'll definitely be back.

This course has always been a favorite and they have done an amazing job of getting the course back in awesome conditions. From tees to greens, it’s in great shape again!

The greens are back! They have battled with fungus and won the war. The course looks good and warning, the greens are slow.

One thing to note; the carts are terrible. They need to be someone to refurbish them or lease new cart.
