About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Golfer Reviews
Better than most!
Course in great shape. New project at driving range should be great!
TBB
The course was in good shape considering the rain. It is a tight course but very fair. I started on the 10th by the clubhouse and had difficulty finding the 1st hole. Greens rolled fast but consistent. It was certainly worth the drive. As a single it took me 3 hours but at a moderate pace meaning i sometimes hit 2 shots.
Jacksonville Westside gem!
Fleming island golf course has always been one of my favorite places to play. The course is always in excellent shape. The greens are perfect and true. An excellent layout and it's challenging. Great place to really enjoy a round of golf. Cart's have GPS also.
always good
great course, always is good condition.
love playing here.
and the new carts with gps make it even better.
driving range is being upgraded too
Challenging course
The longest and one of the hardest 5800 yards (white tees) I’ve played. Very deceiving, even the slope rating says it’s not hard. I guess it’s a complement with the design. Or maybe I just suck at golf. Anyway I had a great time. I’ll be back !
SOGGY
Except for the greens which are in great shape, the fairways and areas around the greens were soggy, balls are coated with mud on landing.
Very wet cart path only!!!
I got my steps in today and was a long round with cart path only. I was alone on the course until the last four holes. Will be nice once it dry out the greens were in great shape.
Slow players
Could have played through group of men. After waiting more on 17 they gave an applause for my long drive and birdie putt. Ladies Can keep up with men.
Charging $20 for individual cart use
If you want your own cart, it cost you $20. No other course is charging. I guess the COVID-19 scare is over in their books.
All the fairways and periphery of the greens were soaked and soggy,
The whole course was soggy and muddy. In a few holes, my shoes sunk and got mudded terrible drainage, which required a cart path only. Not recommended this course after heavy rain.
