About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Good precaution in
That they extended the cup up over the hole one inch or so. If the ball hits the cup it is deemed holed.. Course was in good shape. Played front 9 quickly, On number 10,we ran into a five some. We were upset at first, but they moved quickly.. I recommend this course
Great value
Course was in great shape. Only problem was the group in front of us that played a shambles and I’m sure no one broke 100. We made it around in just a bit over 4 hours so not terrible.

I really enjoyed the course. I am adding it to my courses to revisit.
Good
Good course, especially for the money on that side of the river. Played when they had freshly sanded the greens and hadn’t smoothed them yet, so the greens were slower than anything

Fleming Island is a great course BUT GolfNow over booked tee times , so we didn’t get to play! Thanks GolfNow!!

Loved the greens. Friendly staff. Course is very nice. Great bang for the buck. Play it!
Overbooked Tee Times
Based on either GolfNow or Fleming Island over booking tee times, I didn’t play the course. I was notified of the over booking issue upon arrival and then had a voice mail from GolfNow about 45 minutes before my tee time telling me about the over booking issue. Very poor handling of the issue. So review on everything is poor!
Golf Now Incompatance
Course is Beautiful played there many times. This time Golf Now Did not reserve our tee times and anyone who booked through Golf Now was turned away because Tee time were booked by another service. No apologies from Golf Now just oh well that happens sometimes.
Awesome Round
My friends came down for TPC and with being cancelled we made the best of the situation and played here and course was in very good shape.
A great day on the course
The course currently is in excellent shape. The greens speed increased and the temperature rose.
Maintained very well
This was my first time playing Fleming and I must say, it has some fast greens and the layout can be challenging, but this is my new favorite course. This was the most well-maintained courses I’ve played. Even the tee boxes were in amazing shape. Watch out for the gators though!
Day with the Boys!
Staff was excellent! Course was in good shape. Greens were great and plenty of grass in the fairway made for a fun day. Played in less than 3 hours and 45 minutes. great to play early.
The course needs a new cart girl
Apparently it was the last day for the cart girl. Seems like her last day should have been a long time ago. Her attitude was horrible as well as her service. Hope they get someone friendly next time.
Course is in decent shape for the winter.
A wonderful experience
Showed up - pro shop staff were very pleasant, professional and helpful. Just wished my game was in as good shape as the course was.
Fleming Flair!
Very good layout in good condition. Greens were smooth and very fast. A lot of tight lies in the fairways, though. Back nine had some exceptionally tough holes.
I thought the Blue Tees’ 123 slope was understated.
wow, that was fast
Teed off at 7:15 and was back in the parking lot at 10:20 and hardly saw anyone on the course all day even though the parking lot was full
