About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

The course needs a bit of attention to the tees enjoy the day and only got held up a couple of times the only thing I would recommend is better signs directing you to the next tee
Getting close for Spring Play
Greens were about 80%
Fairways are greening up nicely.
Several spots where cart wear has been allowed to rut the edges of fairway
Lots of wear close to & around the greens.
Be careful on around some of the dirt cart paths...some dangerous drop offs.
Bunkers and tee boxes are in pretty good shape.
Great course
The only problem with today was the over crowdedness.

Awesome layout, course in good condition ,great round today can't wait to go back .

The course was in great condition, the staff was very friendly and the greens rolled very true. It was a pleasure to play there!

Nice Course
First time playing the course, will play again. My only complaint was the pace of play. Need a marshall to keep things moving or at least placards in the cart saying the times per hole.
Course was in good shape.. wind was a killer but other than that it was in great shape. I will definitely be back in the future.
Nice average course
Was in town for the players championship and wanted to play golf. Got a hot deal and checked out the course . My only complaint really is that I forgot my socks and the pro shop didn’t have any. Other than that the course was fine. Had a nice layout and was fun to play. Course conditions are fair with the tee boxes being average and everything else was in good shape. Definitely worth playing if you get a good price. I haven’t played any other courses in the area to compare.

Course conditions would have been 4.5 if it weren't for the tee boxes. They really need work.

Very good course
The course is very challenging especially on the front side. The front nine combines tight driving and narrow fairways. The back nine is more forgiving. The greens were excellent. The overall condition of the course was very good.
Not The Best
Was out 3rd course to play on our annual Soul Patrol outing in Florida, Was not in as good a shape as it was the last time we played it a couple of years ago. Customer service was outstanding but course conditions left a lot to be desired. Lots of areas that should have been roped off as under construction or “no play area” as it was wet, muddy and slimy from previous rain. Signs giving directions to holes was lacking and would have kept us from doubling back after going the wrong way. Greens also left a lot to be desired......
