About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Greens hard and fast
Greens hard and fast. Few bare spots in fairways as very dry. Good selection of tees for all levels. Played as twosome in less than 4 hrs. Well placed and attended bunkers. Will play again
Go somewhere else
The course layout is incredible but unfortunately they are not taking advantage of that. There is no grass on the fairways which makes it very difficult for your approach shots to the elevated greens. Also very interesting elevated fairways on some holes. The greens look beautiful but roll slower than any greens I have ever played. I am a low handicapper and anyone without an expert wedge game will find it nearly impossible to chip off of zero grass around the greens. This would be a fantastic course if the owners would invest in some grass seed. Too many great courses in the area to play this morning and. I would rather pay five dollars or $10 more and play a couple miles away at much better courses. They had a great club sandwich so I gave the course one extra star for that.
Great pace of play
Tee off early played thru slow group on hole 5 after that speedy. Course is in great shape for this time of year.
Always a pleasure
I have played this course three times and each time it's been in great shape. The staff is very friendly. There was not a cart attendant. But other than that we had a great time
Challenging Course
Very interesting layout. It always kept you guessing. The greens were in very good shape and the bowl shape and speed of the greens made things difficult at times. Will play here again.
This course has great value for the money
I've played here the last 2 weekends in a row and the greens were the best I've ever seen. I believe they were a 12 which was much faster than I'm used to. The fairways were decent and the layout was pretty challenging with bunkers strategically placed. I'm definitely going back!
first timer
For the price this course was a great value and we will play here again. greens were consist stimp speed of about 9 . Overall conditions were good. Tees could use a little work but who really cares that much when you are puting it on a peg?

The course was in good shape overall. Greens were true and rolling well on most holes but there were instances of putting through dead spots. The area around some greens were shaved which put a premium on hitting greens. Chipping up to these greens meant tight lies. I would definitely play here again.
Good place to play.
Course is in very good condition. Greens were top dressed today so putting was a little iffy. Not very busy this morning so no drink cart but there are numerous water jugs available on the course. Snack bar at the turn is reasonable. Coke and a hotdog 5 bucks. Group ahead of us apparently didn't know what the rakes in the sand traps are for but that's not the course's fault. I learned today that walking is allowed at times. This is good news because there are very few courses in the area that are walking friendly.
Great golf Course!
The course is in excellent condition. Large greens and a great layout, very scenic.

Played this course several times now and bathrooms were locked every time. Other than that I enjoyed the course
Very good value
Good layout. The greens were in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was excellent. The Golf Now booking fee is too high. Will make every effort to book directly with the course in the future to avoid the booking fee.
