About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Great course but fix 10, 15
Wonderful course but please fix the .10th and 15th tee boxes. They are always in bad shape when I play here.
Grass on Greens
Several greens had blades of grass and lots of dirt. Overall it was a decent experience for the rate but I played Orange Park Cc the week before and it was in better shape for the same price.
For the $ was a good deal
Tee's were a little thin and could have been over seeded last fall but other than that, enjoyed the round
Playing
I like To play a lone . You have guys or ladies will not let you ahead of them.,I thought eagle harbor was bad. Lol Fleming Island is right there.
Great course for the money....
We usually play South Hampton or Bent Creek, but this is by far my favorite that I have played in Jville. Good challenge and natural feel.
Excellent course but needs a ranger
Would have been a wonderful round of golf if they had a ranger. A bunch of singles and twosomes playing slow and not letting faster groups play through. Ranger should have singles and twosomes pair up so pace of play could have been faster.
Flemming Island

Needs repairs desperately
The cart paths need attention and the bridges over several creeks needs to be repaired. They are the equivalent of a roller coaster ride. Dangerous.
Great greens, so so tee boxes
First time I've played this course in over 5 months. The course is in pretty good shape. Very wet in several low spots and areas around many of the greens but could be due to recent rains. The greens are in excellent shape. The tee boxes could be as well but it appears they were not over seeded with rye grass for the winter months and it shows as grass is sparse on quite a few of them..
Great Layout
This is a challenging layout and definitely a "shot makers" course. I you have a tendency to spray some shots, bring a few more balls along. Greens run true and are quick. Tees and fairways were a bit beat up or Would have rated it a Four overall. Will definitely go back.
Fair Couse and Excellent Greens
This course has big fairways, but you must position your ball for approach shots. Greens are excellent and large, but you could easily be on and 3 putt if your not careful.If you’re game is on, you can score well, if you are having an okay day, you will still have a good time.

This course has good greens and ample amount of water
I enjoyed the course. The greens were a little slower than I am used to but very playable. The layout is pretty and somewhat challenging. Well worth the price charged.
Good course, fun to play
Had the course to myself, played in 2.5 hours. Greens looked kinda dead, but were fast and true. Think it's just that time of year where they are in transition, they are always in very good condition here. Wish I had brought my A game, the wheels came off on the back 9.
Nice Course
Nice layout for a links style course. Tree lined fairways. Tee boxes very sandy not much grass. Fairly tight fairways. Some shot placement needed, Longer par-3s. Course was not crowded at all. Driving range. Biggest complaint is there were enough signs to the next tee. Not always obvious where to go next.
Challenges
Links players beware. This is a shot makers course. Bring extra balls if you can't work the ball.
Nice Coarse
I have played this course ever since it opened. It is always in good to great shape. Challenging on many holes but fair. Always a great go to course.
Interesting course
Some fairways are tough to reach. Really challenging but interesting course. Will come again

Great course in perfect condition with lightning fast greens. Can't wait to play there again....
