About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Nice course
Too crowded to make me want to come back and I don't think my text is too short.
Greens were great.
Greens were in great shape. As fast as I have seen. Course was in great shape too

Good layout. Very very wet. No cart girl. Had to skip #10 due to a wedding taking place on the tee box. Overall good value

Great Course
My Girlfriend and I travel within 3 hours of our home to golf different courses... what a gem this course is.. grest layout, great conditions. Even after an inch of rain the night before. The course drained very well. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone looking for a great round of golf.

Superb Value, Great Shape
GC at Fleming Island Plantation is always in great shape, every time I've played. Greens are true, fairways are thick and well maintained.
There was a VERY slow group in front of us, and no one out on the course to complain to or tell them to move along. We had to skip a hole to get in front of them. Some marshalling is necessary.
Overall, for the cost, this is a fantastic course with a lot of unique holes and challenging.
Excellent Course
I could not believe how well kept the course was. The staff was great; im from the North East and I'm not used to such wonderful conditions and friendly staff! Great Job!!
Worth to play
Interesting, varying layout and very good conditions. Great pace of play, still without pressure from behind. Fun to play and definitely worth to come again.
great value and conditioned course
Loved the greens. Smooth and quick. Fairways were nearly perfect and sand in bunkers were good. The course is worth more than charged!
Nice course.
Very nice, fun, and even sometimes challenging course . Plenty of water and sand hazards, but easy to score well if you play it safe.
Very interesting track
Course was wet as we had had lots of rain, however it drained quickly.The design made for interestig hole layout.A geat day.
Another Bobby Weed gem!
Excellent course design and condition! Started at 1215 and finished just before 4. Although the total yardage from the Blues was about right for my shorter driving game, there were 2 holes with forced carries off the tee on which I hit solid tee shots and didn't quite make it ! Lots of fun!
Not your typical Florida course
Fleming Island Plantation offers a challenge for all level of golfers. The layout has water, fairway moguls, long caries over ravines from the tees, and long par threes yet the course is fun to play. The greens are fast and in perfect condition as is the entire course. This was the first time I played Fleming Island Plantation but will definitely put it in my rotation of courses to play.
Nice Value, Freindly Staff, Good Condition
Played Sunday Morning. Course is in good condition., Greens are relatively fast and roll mostly true. Rough is down. Fairways are in decent shape; lots of undulations and not many flat lies out there unless you know where to hit it off the tee. Nice course at $40'ish for weekend prime time.

Very nice layout and look forward to playing ut again... While it was nice shape, it was certainly not pristine. If you want pristine. ...Go somewhere else.. great value and very enjoyable for the money!
Great place to play
I live at the beach so it needs to be a really good value (cost vs. course) and this is a great value! Course and greens were in great shape. Play here a couple of times a year just due to distance but it's got to be at or near the top of public courses in NE FL.

Greens and fairways in very good shape for this time of the year. Pace of play was a little slow, but not terrible. I would recipe recommend the course.
