Fleming Island Golf Club

Excellent place to play, course is in great condition. Greens are in great shape!

Fleming Island course is in excellent condition - perhaps best I have seen in some time. My only negative was the pace of play; after only 12 holes were played and more than 3-1/2 hrs had elapsed, I quit playing. The golf club should do more to keep the players moving along.

Fleming Island is a nice course and right now the greens are in good condition. They still need to work on the traps but all in all, they course is going in the right direction. We used the afternoon special and paid $25. I think the $34++ is a little high for this course since we can play better courses in the area for less, some including breakfast and lunch.
Your best bet is to use Golf Now to get better rate or play after 2PM

Very nice course for the price. Greens and fairways are in great shape. My only 2 complaints - no drink cart on a very hot day, and the staff treated me like a bit of an unwanted guest. Told another twosome he was going to pair me up with them because I had walked up. Uh, no, I didn't walk up. I had a tee time. Also, while the price for 18 holes was very competitive at $34, paying an extra $7 for a bag of range balls to warm up is a bit steep.

The course is in good condition and would be enjoyable to play if you weren't having to spend the afternoon waiting for your turn to hit. The course was loaded completely at our start and got no better through out the round. The tee times need to be spaced out to accommodate the abilities of the customers playing. There were no marshals watching or trying to help control pace of play. We played at noon on a Wednesday and were very suprised at the crowded conditons. If you don't mind waiting forever at each shot this may not bother you. Good luck!

This course has improved so much. I haven't played here in a long time because of the course and staff. Great changes all around!

Played on a hot Monday afternoon, so not many people playing. Lots of hidden hazards and bad bounces. Shots that look great off of the club end upcatching a slope and rolling into the hazard. Fairways are narrow and landing areas are small so it's a tough course for a high handicapper like me. Bring lots of golf balls.

Condition of fairways and greens were very good. The course is somewhat challenging but not to bad. The only gripe I have is the slow pace of play. Maybe the staff could look into alternating tee starts on from the #1 and #10.

This course has always been a nice place to play but it's gotten even better after a recent ownership change. The greens are in very good condition, pace of play was excellent for a weekday round and the subtle changes to the course (new tee markers, landscaping, etc.) are really adding to the course quality. You can't go wrong with Fleming Island when it comes with quality and value.

I would like to start off by saying the condition of the course is pretty good. With that being said the pace of play was extremely slow and no ranger at all. They always over book morning tees times and very difficult to play with any kind of rhythm. Very frustrating to say the least. I will play here again but never in the a.m. One of the kids that worked there was even bragging about how many rounds they had in before noon.

Great staff, fairways and greens. Looking forward to the next round here.

The course was in great shape, the greens had been recently punched with small holes, but still putted good.

From beginning to end, the experience was outstanding. The staff was welcoming and courteous and efficient. The range looked great. The course was in fantastic shape. We really enjoyed our day.

front 9 is quirky. especially for a 1st time. the back 9 is very enjoyable.

Good fast elevated greens are challenging but, rolled smooth and true, ball bites on the greens on chip and full shots. I'm a 4 handicap who hates slow and or bumpy greens, but I have no complaints on these. Fairways were nice, good distinction between fairway and rough. Tees were really nice too. Bunkers were very hit or miss, I played in one that was just solid mud, but another that was perfect, so who knows, maybe it was an off day for sand traps. No course is perfect but I would not hesitate to play this course again.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Before I could park my truck a young man pulled up in a golf cart and helped me load my clubs. Course is well maintained and in excellent condition.

Nice course that we really enjoyed. Will definitely be out there again.

I've been playing this course for several years. I hit my first and only hole in one on number 6 a couple of years ago. Always love coming back to course for that challenge to do it again. Above and beyond it's always a nice place to play - very well maintained.
