Fleming Island Golf Club
About
The Golf Club at Fleming Island has a diverse landscape that allows for two distinctly different nines. The front nine of the golf course is wide open with waste areas and wetlands to create a classic links feeling. In contrast, the back nine was carved from dense forests, giving a more secluded atmosphere. There are sand bunkers strategically placed across the rolling landscape and water comes into play throughout. The fairways on this golf course are misleading, they are not as tight as they seem from the tees. Although the Golf Club at Fleming Island can be a challenge, there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.

Best bang for the buck
I’m for Louisville Kentucky and stopped by for a quick round. The course was in great shape and the staff was super friendly.
Nice track
Course was in great condition only complaint not on Course cart path only played while in town for work would play again lots of water but most fairways wide open greens were in great condition
Beautiful course
Great value, gorgeous course. Only down was cart path only due to weather conditions.
Great Course and Great Value - Friendly Staff
Played as a 2some, 1st tee time of the day @7am (a group of members had teed off about 20 min before, never saw them). Pace of play never an issue, finished round in a little over 3hrs. Course conditions fantastic from tee to green, a little wet, but was expected due to lots of rain recently and the early morning dew. The greens were in great shape, very few blemishes if any.
James, pro shop, was awesome!
Very good
Fairways fluffy, greens and tees great shape . Overall hadn’t played in 12 years course was fabulous.
Always a treat
Love the layout and course condition. Always well groomed and challenging. Highly recommend playing here if you want a nice treat
Great Shape
So many courses have been hit by the early hot days! Greenskeeper is to be commended!
Course is in great shape!
Great!
For a public access course at a reasonable cost this has a very high rating from me as someone who has played country club courses my whole life. My son and I were playing well at a great pace until we got behind a threesome who really shouldn’t have been on the course as they were that bad and I mean really bad. We called it a day at that point for the last 4 holes were probably going to take 1 1/2 hours. Bad luck of the draw and don’t blame anyone.
Fleming Island golf course
Enjoyed the golf course, found it to be in good condition. Tee boxes were fine, fairways were in nice shape. Greens had recently been sanded. Overall quite good condition. Pace of play was pretty good. I'm not a good golfer so can't speak as to as how challenging it is. 90% of the water is out of play so that's nice. I'll go back for sure.
Awesome Couse and Staff
Awesome course. Probably the best in Jacksonville. Owner and club Pros are very approachable and allow members flexibilities not typically found at other clubs. Fairways and greens are always manicured and look great. If you live around Fleming Island and want to join a club that treats their members top notich, this is the one. As a public course, the Golf Club at Fleming Island (and Hibernia Pub - the awesome restaurent on site) is open to the general pubic and treats everyone like family. Finally, their "better than Top Golf" experience, know as "Top of Tee", is also open to the public (up at the driving range area) and a wonderful time as a solo or with Friends and Family. The Top Tracer technology and Virtual Golf games are almost as fun as being on the course. and the bar staff (both at Hibernia and ToTT) couldn't be friendlier. BC
