i love the course and wd like to play often though winter is better weather wise as summer here is too hot. So, this time of the year you can expect the fairways are in dormant but here are not too bad like many other course, still see greenish color. And the greens are always good. tee shots are very important placed in the right spots of the fairways as most of them are slopped. we are talking about in-play and lost ball kind of difference. So, some local knowledge is a great help.

look forward to go back play another round in the near future.

This course is just another course nothing special nothing to remember I would not return not because of any particular issue just the bland design and overall conditions of the fairways which were hard pan dirt and white grass when there was grass the greens were OK but there were severe Divet marks on every green and it just felt like there were not enough maintenance staff to keep this place to a standard of wanting to return I would play the crossings which is a lot nicer Or Arrowood any day this course isn’t bad but it’s just boring and conditions could be much improved if you’re in the area didn’t get a special for under $50 then I would say go for it but anything more than that it’s not worth it especially if you want to finish

Fair conditions as expected this time of year. Play all over SoCal and we’re some of best greens I’ve had in a long time. Very slow pace, but have been wanting to play this for years. Check it out, it’s a good challenge with some tight fairways, nice layout and great greens.

Would play again if it wasn’t 50 miles out.

GCC has been one of our favorite course and right now the course is in immaculate shape, you could have tour events and the tour pros would commend.

the greens are rolling true and are fair when you hit a good shot they stop.

with all the rains the green is still rolling true. hats of the greenskeeper for keeping this in such exceptional shape.

Instead of Driving to palm springs, you have a course in your backyard that is in impeccable shape and at a fraction of the cost.

We play the Golf Club of California a few times a year. Unless you live in Fallbrook, it's a fair drive but well worth it. The practice facility has everything you'll need driving range, chipping area, practice green. Unfortunately since Covid the bar and restaurant are takeout only. The course itself has plenty of terrain features that make it challenging.

Great layout, awesome staff and amenities. Greens and tee boxes are perfect. Fairways are in ok shape. In there defense, it is January!

I really like this course. In fact, it’s one of my favorites. But it was disappointing that despite having a 1:20 tee-time (where we’re trying to get in as many holes as possible before dark for our $50 each), we couldn’t tee off until about 1:35-ish because 1) we had to wait on a cart and then 2) we had to wait for a 2 some who were nowhere in sight once we finally got our cart. When they did finally appear, they were going to walk the course. Nothing wrong with walking....perhaps they had to because of no carts. But being told by the starter (repeatedly) to wait for them to materialize when there was no one in sight playing in front of us, was tremendously disappointing. If they were walking, I don’t understand why they were not present at the designated tee time. And this course covers a large area—often significant distances between holes. So, again, disappointing that my husband and I couldn’t just hit and move on, allowing the very nice couple to walk the course at their pace. Anyway, I still love the course but I hope to not have a repeat of that scenario.

Course in pretty good shape for time of year. Greens a little fuzzy but 9/10 overall. Fairways a little white and dormant but retained moisture well so ball striking was not effected. Tee boxes in good shape as well. $$74 with cart a tad steep but borderline worth it. Fun track

Had the pleasure of playing this during Christmas. Greens are impeccable. Pace of play super fast. Green fairways even in the middle of winter. Comfy carts with ball and club washer. Excellent practice facilities. Gorgeous views. AND, only $66 with cart!!! This could be the best value for the quality of course I’ve ever played. A Maderas competitor without the $140 price tag. Will play here again. Bravo golf club of CA

Dramatic improvement from prior years. Tee maintained, fairways/rough above average considering it is the winter season, and greens superb. Greens are some of the finest I seen during the winter season. Course layout wonderful as always. Noticeable improvement from August to December 2020 which I noticed from tee to green in such a short span of time. Great job by the staff.
