About
Situated just outside of Temecula, the Golf Club of California enjoys a scenic landscape provided by the rolling hills north of San Diego. The terrain is ideal for a round of golf, offering verdant acres of countryside blanketed with mature oaks, sycamores, and towering eucalyptus trees and accented with redtop grasses, which border the carefully manicured fairways and greens. Although there is an abundance of trees, the course still has many wide-open areas. The pristine white sand bunkers and colorful wildflowers are a beautiful contrast to the lush green of the course. The layout is not particularly long, but golfers should be prepared for a challenging round of target golf. The course features narrows fairways, plenty of elevation changes, and tricky greens that require an accurate approach. There are also a few meandering creeks that come into play.

Great condition for winter, fun challenging layout
Cool par 3s.
Fairways not too much different than the short rough but greens and sand in great condition

Fun course
Never played this course before. And had an absolute blast. Tough greens. Tight fairways. Overall awesome course

Fallbrook is a hidden gem
Great layout, beautiful and challenging. Recommend by 2 friends, so I had to try it. All four of us have never played there. We liked it so much we are coming back next week!

All good except food service
Walk up, outdoor snack bar closed but indoor "grill" open. Get your red hot COVID here! Ran out of hot dogs at 130 pm on a packed day.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Course in great shape for December in SoCal. Awesome course, but amenities not up to par on this day. Last time, great. Probably holiday stuff. Play this course.

Great layout in Acceptable Shape
This is a very good course in the hills if Fallbrook that is playing very fast due to dry fairways that have not been overseeded. Lies in the fairways are tight but mostly playable if the ball stays there after hitting iff the tee. The roll you get is hard to predict. The greens are in good shaoe but very tricky with some severe undulations. There is a range and taking a electric golf cart is a must due to long distances between some tees.

Course conditions
Just played today and the greens and tees are in good shape however the fairways are thin. The course could benefit from some longer fairways grass as the ball rolls a lot with hard thin fairways.
