About
Situated just outside of Temecula, the Golf Club of California enjoys a scenic landscape provided by the rolling hills north of San Diego. The terrain is ideal for a round of golf, offering verdant acres of countryside blanketed with mature oaks, sycamores, and towering eucalyptus trees and accented with redtop grasses, which border the carefully manicured fairways and greens. Although there is an abundance of trees, the course still has many wide-open areas. The pristine white sand bunkers and colorful wildflowers are a beautiful contrast to the lush green of the course. The layout is not particularly long, but golfers should be prepared for a challenging round of target golf. The course features narrows fairways, plenty of elevation changes, and tricky greens that require an accurate approach. There are also a few meandering creeks that come into play.

I really enjoy this course!
This was my second time playing this course. It comes with plenty of challenges but it’s also very enjoyable playing each hole. I will definitely be back.

Very Pleasantly Surprised
My husband and I really enjoyed our round of golf at this course. While there were groups in front of us, the pace of play was more than reasonable. Two groups let my husband and I play through since it was just the two of us--this is without us asking or crowding the groups (in fact, they insisted on us playing through as we told each group that their pace of play was fine and was not an issue for us). Each hole was unique and enjoyable to play but included plenty of challenges. I will definitely add this course to my list of favorites.

Horrible business tactics
Reserved a tee time on a Monday for the upcoming Saturday, and something came up Monday night and I had to cancel our reservation the following day on a Tuesday. The guy was real nice and he thanked me for calling up and canceling in advance and said they hope that we can come back and play some other time. Then on the Sunday, the day after we were supposed to play I get an email and was charged $276 for a no-show. Called and they said they had no record of a cancellation. Gave the time and date that I called. Still nothing. Called back the next day and started to explain and the guy just hung up on me. Horrible business

What a hidden gem in Fallbrook!!!
We played here today and this place is great. Had a fun and tough course lay out and the course was in really nice condition. The greens were in great shape since they just over seeded a few weeks ago, the fairways were in pretty good condition with some brown spots but mostly in great shape. The tee boxes were all in good shape as well. We will for sure be back to play this more often as it's a great price compared to a lot of other courses close in the area.

Great Private feel
Nice little gem of a course that winds its way thru some cool neighborhoods. Gotta stay in play or bring lots of balls. Great greens and course conditions.

Marshal needed
Everything fine but you need a marshal to prevent slow play. Especially on the weekends.

Fun time
Course had been punched about a week and a half ago and honestly other than the 1st green which is always suspect regardless the greens were rather good give them a few more days and they will be perfect. Course conditions were great , bunkers a mixed bag but with the covid rules to be expected.love the challenges this course offers always a fun time will definitely be back

Great course. Greens were punched, should be healed up and ready to go by Nov 7th, 2021. They will be prime by then. Still a little sandy and bumpy right now
