Golfer Reviews
Always my favorite quick round course.
Everything never saw the traps in this bad of condition. Hopefully now that the rains are over can get some sand to fluff them up.
Challenging Course, poor condition
Challenging Course, good greens JC Golf poorly manages this course. NO sand in bunkers, none !
Fairways terrible. Skirt around green completely uncut. Tree trimming and fence maintenance absent for many, many years which truely effects playability. This is a challenging Course with so much potential. Clearly JC Golf must be financially strained too see this course lacking general maintenance and upkeep on so many levels.
Good course, poorly managed by JC Golf
Challenging par 3 course, really nice greens and the positive experience ends there. No sand in bunkers, no water in half the ball washers, green skirts UN mowed, wood fences on property broken not repaired. JC Golf has not invested in the course and boy does it show. How can you have a golf course where the sand is gone and not replaced ? ?
On every hole ! That is like going to a car wash with no water . . . . This is reflective of many JC Golf properties .
Nice course, needs sand in bunkers
Nice course, like all JCGolf properties, sand bunkers need sand. J C Golf needs to put more money into all their courses, they just skate by with minimal course up keep.
Can be a good value at the right price
Played this course with my wife. She rode while I walked. The course is relatively easy to walk, but there are a couple spots with a steep hill you need to climb. I felt the course played pretty easy, I think I lost 1 ball. There is quite a bit of OB and hazard though that if you hit into you will never find your ball, so the course plays easy for a strong irons player.
I felt the condition of the course was average. The greens were in good shape, which was appreciated. However, the bunkers seemed a bit firm. My pet peeve though is tee boxes that are uneven. It seemed that several of the tee boxes had significant slope to them. If the tee boxes were leveled and in better shape, that would have improved my rating.
I also didn't like having to walk across the street in order to get to part of the course. It would have been much nicer to be able to take the tunnel, that is apparently flooded out with no plans to clear (I was told it has been like that for over a year).
That said, the course was fun and my wife had a good time. I think $20 walking is a bit higher than what this course should cost, but I didn't feel overcharged either. I would have marked the value higher if the rate was closer to $15 walking, and $25 riding.
Really nice par 3 course
As almost every JC golf managed golf properties the sand bunkers need sand. This is a really nice par 3 course, but the course is showing signs of a lack of money for simple General golf course maintenance. Great staff at the location.
Fine tune your short game . . Challenging Course
It has been 2 years since I played this course and I forgot just how challenging it is ! If you want to improve your short game this is a challenging course. I just wish JC Golf would improve sand conditions in sand traps. With all of JC Golf courses, this is a glaring weakness of J C golf properties.
Always fun
I like coming here to work on my game, and have fun with my son. The course offers some good challenges and an enjoyable outing. The staff have always been friendly and extremely helpful, I would say that they are a huge reason why return over other courses.
Beautiful course, super friendly staff
My wife and I were on vacation and played this course. Course is in great shape and everyone was very friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking to visit Southern California!
Great Par 3 Course
Just a beautiful par 3 executive course. Friendly Staff as well.
Great course excellent value
My son and i played here for the first time last Saturday. Very challenging for a par 3. Really have to place your shots. Great course to walk and people were very friendly
reidy creek
the course is a par three course it very narrow and unforgiving. the grass is very lush and green. it is a great course to work on your short game. i enjoyed it a lot.
Very Nice Little Course
This is a great little par-3 course hidden north of Escondido.
