The Lincoln Hills Golf Club - Orchard Course

This is the 3rd time I’ve played there and it was definitely disappointing. For $60 a round the course was in extremely poor condition. It’s in a quiet retirement community and somehow I feel like they aren’t allowed to groom any part of the course. Tee boxes are horrible, fairways were hardly trimmed and the sand hazards were definitely not taken care of. For not being close to the clubhouse on either turn, wouldn’t you think they would have multiple food and beverage carts running on a Sunday with ACTUAL food stocked? Maybe sell a hot dog or two when your customers are away from the clubhouse for all 18 holes treading around in the weeds.

Awesome elevated tee on hole #2. Difficult greens with plenty of bunkers with shallow sand.

This course was great from the practice areas to the course. I loved all the water even though it didn’t really come into play. The scenery was amazing especially with all the bridges going through the wetlands and nature areas.

Staff are friendly. Course in great condition. Layout OK. Had a great time and worth the price.

Several tee boxes are overgrown with crabgrass and the rough and fairways have multiple weeds/crabgrass. With Troon taking over, I would assume this will be a high priority to address before the spring hits.

Just a few challenges but a fairly open easy course.

The starter allowed 6 players to go out as a group on a packed crowded holiday. We waited on every shot and it took us a little over 5.5 hours to play. We called the pro shop and they didn’t seem to care as several groups behind us called and complained. We had at least two groups on the box each time and at one point had three groups on the box waiting.

Awesome course, greens kept, fairways nice, tee boxes nice, bunkers are very muddy. Biggest complaint is no clubhouse on the turn as well as no beverage cart

No course marshal to regulate pace of play. Called the club house for hours and no answer. Once I finally got some one to answer they said it was forwarded from the club house to him and he couldn’t help us. We were verbally threatened by the group in front of us for asking them to speed up their pace of play. The clubhouse restaurant and bar were closed on a Sunday but that could’ve been Covid19 related. The cart service going from hole to hole saw us on hole 1 and hole 17…. For a 5 hour and 20 minute round this wasn’t very effective, I assume they have 1 cart for both courses.
